When your team is in first place, as is Dustin's, I guess you can do anything facial hair-wise.

Since all Gnats players are required to suck Barroid's nuts before and after each game I think Dustin decided he'd shave off part of his goat to give Barroids' nuts a nice itchy-free place to rest.

I think the Gnats should worry more about his shitty ERA than his nut holder. Once Barroids and Schmitt get injured again (it's only a matter of time) they're going back to where they belong
