Skateboard company name
My dads name is Sheffee....I remember once seeing a shirt from a skateboard company that had a name very similar to his name. I looked online and couldn't find anything. Can anyone think of what skateboard company I'm looking for? I'd love to get him a shirt for fathers day.

Sean SHEFFEY is a skateboarder who is pretty good or at least was at one time. I looked all over for a shirt with his name and found nothing. He rides now for a company called Krooked, but they sell his decks and no shirts as far as I could tell. He also has a Deck called "Girl" but he is a dude.
As far as I can tell, I did not find anyone in skateboarding anywhere that was named Sheffee. If you want a shirt that says Sheffey on it, I am friends with the Editior of Transworld Skate and I can ask him if there are any out there and where to get one. If not, I will not call in the favor. He is always giving me stuff and I don't like to bug him b/c he is the type of guy who if I ask him, a t-shirt will show up on my doorstep and it makes me feel bad. Oh yeah - and if by chance there is a "Sheffey" t-shirt out there, I bet it is all crazy and bright and weird looking. It is not going to just have the name I would not think. Just so you know in advance.

Thanks for all the info Mondak....Sheffey is what I was thinking of. I did some searching and couldn't find anything either. If you don't mind asking your friend, I really would love to find a shirt with Sheffey on it. I just know it's really the sort of thing my dad would get a kick out of.
Thanks for all your help. |

Skull and Bones forums would be a good place to look also. A lot of collectors there who trade and sell all types of skate stuff.

Well - I did mention it to one of their photgraphers who I see all the time. He said that Sheffey was "old" and it would be really tough. he doubted that there would be anything with Sheffey being activly produced and your best bet would be to find something from a few years back. See what 00111000 posted and try that. Let me know how it goes.. I will keep my eyes open.

Here're some Sheffey wheels:
The Girl Board: Apparently he used to ride for "SHUT" maybe that will help with your search. There was a line of Matix clothing associated with him but I can't find any links to it. Maybe someone at their site would be able to help you: http://www.matixclothing.com/
