Delgado to L.A?
I was watching the Blue Jays game tonight and they mentioned that Carlos Delgado might be going to LA?
He left the game in the 5th or 6th inning for no reason. Anyone know whats happening? |
Woah.. that would be SWEET.
It's very plausible because the Blue Jays GM is friends with the Dodgers GM - they've all ready done one trade this year. |
That would be good for LA. I personally really wouldn't want Delgado on my team.
|
That would be interesting, he has played for Toronto for soo many losing seasons, if he was traded to a good team I think he'd explode, and play amazing baseball. For Toronto anyhow, what would happen, hes the franchise.
|
Where would he play? Shawn Green is at first right, and the outfield is full?
That would rock for the Dodgers. |
So far he's had a shitty season. Would going to a place that is such a pitcher's park be that good of a move for him?
|
He left with a knee injury.
Sorry to burst your bubble. |
Hopefully he is traded to the Dodgers so he can be reunited with Shawn Green. Josh Phelps can then take over at first base with Greg Myers coming back to the DH role.
|
If LA really wants him, it's going to cost big time pitching prospects like Edwin Jackson or Greg Miller, plus others prospects.
|
i wish we traded him to L.A. as he makes way too much money, 19 million of a team with a 50 million dollar payroll is too much. when is hot he is the best hitter in the league, but when he is cold, he could not hit A ball pitching.
|
last year of his contract and the jays won't pay $19million for him again - consider him good as gone sometime this season.
|
ugh... great... Delgado, who;s not havin his best season goin' to a pitchers park?...
What a bust for my fantasy team |
I just love that his name translates to Thin Charles.
|
I hope he doesn't go. I once got free tickets to game once because my friends' freind knew him and gave us all tickets.
