Tommy John Rehab Info Needed...
I have a buddy who just had Tommy John Surgery (elbow surgery for those non-baseball fans) Hes looking for some rehab program tips, exercises timetables, basically anything. His doc didnt give him anything and the school wont give him any advice without a doctors notice. So ive been looking for stuff but coming up empty. Ive googled it and found nada, searched under ulnar collateral ligament and found some info but not a specific routine.
Has anyone in here had the surgery? Have a program or timetable or exercise guide? Thanks for the help! |

Did he ask the doctor? If so, I would suggest a new doctor before anything else.
Is he a pitcher?

Yea he is a pitcher... I dont quite understand why his doctor never gave him a rehab program. I think he understands that he needs to get his range of motion back first, but after that he doesnt know where to go.

He needs to get back to his doctor. He can fuck up his arm pretty bad doing rehab on his own. His doctor should have given him instructions to go to rehab.
I had surgery on my arm over 3 years ago and had to have thearpy for 2 months. It was pretty much all range of motion stuff. But if you do it wrong.. man does it hurt. He's got to get back to his doctor and into professional rehab.
