Keep Casey and because you won't have abything for Utility and he'll finish .300+ 75+ RBI and 20+ Hr.
If Wells was showing anything I'd say go ahead and trade Casey but Wells is slumping badly. Hope it's just a slow start but looks like maybe a long slow start. Mora, Mueller and Pettitte is a good offer. Maybe go as high as Mora and Mueller and Mulder.

I just love people who use the excuse "I use/do this because I LOVE the feeling/joy/happiness it brings me" and expect you to be ok with that as you watch them destroy their life blindly following. My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?" |

yea, wells is not doing too good, but there are some good pick ups for some reason left on fa's
just to name a few grissom, encarcion Biggio a sanchez gerut matsui lawton and on th epitcher side, Ishii, Alvarez, pavano silva v. zabrano k rogers trachele buhrle amongst others are still available. SO I can pick a decent pitcher and hitter I think. I know Im offereing a lot, He is one of those managers that I think if i am gonna ask for someone like rolen I have to be serious in an offer. If it wasn t for who is still available I wouldn t even have considered trading. But now you got me thinking did i offer too much. He hasnt rejected or accepted yet.

I would ask for another player from him/her. Pettitte is gonna have an awesome year and I consider him in the same ranking as Rolen. Casey looks like the real deal and Mora nearly led the league in batting avg. not too long ago. See if you can get a pitcher and dump Sanders rather than Casey.

Wow, my team is very similar.
First of all, Rolen can rake, no doubt about that. He's still not worth 3 players that are kicking ass right now. On the other hand, if the player you're trading for was Blalock, I might be inclined to do it, but I'd try to make it D Lee instead of Casey. How are you doing as far as being on track to use your max innings? With 5 starters, you might run out. Mora can hit too, but he' s no power guy. I think you're fine, especially with Mueller as a backup. He'll get things together and go on a tear eventually. I also think you should trade Leiter. He's not striking guys out at any incredible rate, he doesn't get the run support to win games, and his ERA will be going up soon. Looking at his career numbers the guy has had little consistancy. One year he has an ERA in the low to mid 3's, next year it's in the high 3's to mid 4's. Other times he's been just bad. I'd check and see if Jose Valverde (AZ) is taken in your league. He took Mantei's place and he was lights out last year and has been most of this year. AZ is really shaky so he might not get a ton of saves, but the rotation is so shaky that he'll eat up a lot of innings with a high K rate. You can never have too many closers and it's always nice to have 5 closers. |

Well the guy totaly nixed the trade.
Im one of those people who like to make all my changes and secure my roster in the bveginning of the season. Leiter and Sabathis are really good pitchers, but i dont think anyone in my league would trade for em due to the run support. I didn t take the inning limit into consideration. Its currently at this Position- Innings Pitched Remaining Projected Maximum Pitchers- 280.1 -------------969.2 ------1278.0 - (+28.0) 1250 I guess I should trim down my pitching. expecially with prior coming back soon and having 4 releivers
