Just thought i'd ask how many people are into the world Ice hockey championships this year? Last week I flew out from London to Prague for 3 days to see team canada play and even thoguh they don't have their full team it was an AMAZING expericence. The arena and city is gorgeous and the eastern europeans love their hockey! (also got to see swiss-aust.)
GO CANADA GO!!!

A tough loss last night but to take the words of their coach 'At least we leave today with a piece of humble pie'

It's a good tournament so far... there is some extremely good competition... here's to hoping canada can win three straight and take home the gold... again!

Is it on tv anywhere? Atleast in the United States.. Seems espn isn't covering it..

TSN in Canada as for the states no idea, but I'm not surprised ESPN isn't covering it.

website doesn't list tv schedules =/ and i don't think center ice is showing it so.

TSN now also has highlites on their website (tsn.ca), the brutal thing is that living over in England it's not even on tv here!

OH CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT's great to see happen, esp. after the way that they started the tournament! But everyone knew that they'd get stronger as it went on and the team began to mold together!!!!!
And now onto Austria next year

(after going this year i think i'm def. gonna do the same next yr! IT cant be beat!!!)

Once again Canada the hockey super power, what a game, they showed a lot of heart today, and kudos to Sweden for playing a hard fought game, but like DaGus said they forgot to show up for the second half of the game, much like Canada didn't show up for the first half

when Rob Niedermayer(SP?) tried to kill Peter Forsberg with that ugly thing he did, after that Canada took over more and more

that was in the first period.... Sweden scored two consecutive goals after that incident if i'm not mistaken

Forsberg just didn't play a good game... he wasn't a factor... I don't think the hit changed the outcome of the game at all

what changed the momentum was the Swedish goalie self destructing and allowing two insanely quick goals
