Duh. Like there was going to be a different result?

One day an Englishman, a Scotsman, and an Irishman walked into a pub together. They each bought a pint of Guinness. Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust. The Scotsman fished the fly out of his beer and continued drinking it, as if nothing had happened. The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!" |

OK lets compare:
Points: LeBron Rebounds: Carmello Assists: LeBron Court Vision: LeBron Wins: Carmello And Carmello only won the "win" category by a couple games. LeBron did with the Cavs what Carmello did with a superior team. Bron took a far worse team and took them one game behind where Carmello got. And did LeBron throw tantrums in games? No. Easy winner=LeBron. |

Plus, LeBron played a harder position.

LeBron ran the point and played two, both positions where ball-handling and vision are important. At the three and four, where Carmello played, those aren't as important as simply getting good shots and rebounding.
Since the one and two generally require better skills, the fact that LeBron played above expectations becomes more impressive then Carmello playing above expectations.

Carmelo shouldn't take this too hard, he's in the playoffs and LeBron isn't. Too bad they aren't in the same conference and won't get to play each other that much next year.
I was actually hoping for a Co-ROY, but I won't doubt that LeBron did live up to the tremendous hype. I guess just for accomplishing that he deserves the award.
