Portland, Utah and Denver are battling for the 8th and final spot in the playoffs.

Who do you like?


I think Jerry Sloan has cemented his spot as one of the great coaches in basketball, taking this team as far as he has. I don't think any of the 3 teams are talented enough to get it done, but I like Utah.

I want Denver to make it, because it would be good for Carmelo Anthony to lead his team to the playoffs. They are a young team and making it to the playoffs would really boost their confidence. Besides, if Portland makes it, they will just get smacked by the Lakers, again. And I hate Utah.

I'm from Portland and would be quite disturbed if we missed the playoffs for the first time in our entire history.

'first time in 21 years' would be the proper phrase there. Portland did miss the playoffs at least a few times between 1970-1982, even with the '77 championship.
Born and raised in the Portland/Salem area, so I am pulling for them despite their best efforts to reach the lottery this year.

I'm hoping that the Nuggets can hang on. It's been 9 years since they have been to the playoffs at all, and they have only gone to the playoffs twice in the last 15 years.

Utah or Portland...I just dislike Denver for some reason this year, or maybe it's just because I like Utah/Portland more.

I want Denver to take it because they have been bad for quite some time now and I want to see Carmelo play some more.

i was going to say....the first time in history seems a little big. i knew it was 21 years, and i was pretty damn sure they had been around since 1980 AT LEAST.

lol...i just find it funny how they had won their championship 27 years ago, yet 21 years is their entire history....oh well minor mistake.


BTW, Denver clinched tonight. i was kinda rooting for them because i personally find the Portland franchise pretty ugly right now....only because of the players they have/once had. and Utah, well i never really liked them because of Malone and Stockton. and its just carrying over since they left.

the last time the Nuggets were in the playoffs----was that when they were an 8 seed and Dikembe helped them knock off the best in the West?

I'm not saying it's going to happen again, but that would be fun
