However, I would not be shocked if none of the series turn out this way. The first round is going to be a killer round to watch. There are some great matchups all the way around. Any team in the playoffs could beat one another. This should be a memorable Cup Series and remember, it could possibly be the last one for a while with the lockout looming.... |

Everybody so far has picked my Lightning ....
If this were a football pool I would pick the Isles just on principle. Anybody goin' to the games ? Got my tix for Thurs at the Ice Palace. :) :) |

no sliet jay a lock out dam near killed baseball and that was the biggest sport at the time a lock out will kill five to ten teams in the nhl dont belive me wait and see |
I dunno, a few less teams would be ok with me.
|
Man, Silent Jay, you are the biggest jinx ever. You broke two of the biggest rules a fan has about his or her team going into playoffs. For one you never ever predict a sweet. And secondly you never have any pictures of your team with the cup. Tsk tsk. I hope the leafs lose in 4 just to smite you.

I'm going to laugh in so many of your guy's faces when the Stars get knocked out of the playoffs by my Aves in 5 games.

Yeah "Kipper" isn't exactly playing stellar, and Clouthier is playing decent, but it is only the first game, so anything can and will still happen.
|
I do gotta give it to Cloutier tonight. He's doing pretty good.
I cannot believe the score so far. 5-3. Unreal. If it wern't for all these shitty penelties we've been taking we'd be right in this. Don't count us out yet though, we'll be there to the end. Go Flames!!! |
I'm way too superstitious, so there is no way I'm braggin, but I thank god Detroit took care of business tonight. I couldn't handle losing to Nashville because Vokoun went Giggy on 'em. Just getting that first win under their belt should boost their confidence, especially Legace, who played an awesome game tonight.
|
I think in the past three days i've seen almost every possible spelling of Cloutier
there is no 'h' in there people!!! ;) anyways, yes, these playoffs are shaping up to be very tight, the refereeing is strict, which is not necessarily a bad thing because it makes each team play more disciplined. here's to hoping the rest of the playoffs are a success |
yeah but what can you do with spelling his name, I'm just glad they aren't talking about a russian there would be a lot more spellings then.
|
I notice a lot of people picking the Senators over the Leafs, which is funny, considering expectations of a Senator's victory up here in the nation's capital is at an all time low.
And for those that say "Leafs in 4", don't get so cocky. The Senators aren't that pathetic against the Leafs. |

I agree with Dr. Who quite abit to, but I just honestly can't say Montreal beating Boston four times.
|
Im loving the Sens beating the Leafs... keep it up
