Conference Records In The Tourney So Far
I haven't seen much of the Big 12 this year but it looks like they are playing well so far in the tourney. Anyone have a healthy opinion on conference supremacy? :D *steps away from the board fearing embers are about to fly*
Conference (teams) W-L Percentage Big 12 (4) 7-1 0.875 ACC (6) 9-3 0.750 Big East (6) 8-3 0.727 Atlantic 10 (4) 4-2 0.667 WAC (2) 2-1 0.667 SEC (6) 6-4 0.600 Big 10 (3) 3-2 0.600 Conference USA (6) 5-5 0.500 West Coast (1) 1-1 0.500 Big West (1) 1-1 0.500 Metro Atlantic (1) 1-1 0.500 Pac 10 (3) 1-3 0.250 Mountain West (3) 0-3 0.000 |
The Big 12 teams are looking real good right now...but the ACC is STILL the toughest conference in the country. 6 of 9 teams in, 4 of 12, see a difference ;)

OSU looks tough. They might just be too big for St. Joe's.
I'm an ACC/Duke guy all the way, but OSU scares me. |
wait... and the Atlantic-10 is consired a mid-major team, and they have two teams in the elite 8 and one of those teams last lost was to my Duquesne Dukes, what a crazy world this is

I know this sounds weird but where is the MAC? Think Kent and Eastern Michigan went not truly sure who represented the MAC.

It was W. Michigan and they lost first round to Vanderbilt.

A-10 all the way baby!!!
Duke and Xavier........my prayers are with Xavier; Duke will be a mighty opponent and will be an awesome game. For the Duke lovers out there, remember what happened to the formerly perfect and No.1 ranked St. Josephs? As you can see by my avatar, Xavier is my team, as I will be going there next year. Down with Duke! |
In a random bit of trivia socc, the last two teams to beat Xavier after Sunday both share the name "Duke", Duke of course and then the Duquesne Dukes
