Congrats ManU. Well, now that they're in partnership with George Steinbrenner and the New York Yankees, get ready for the "Waaah it's not fair they buy all their players" crap that we Yankees fans have been used to for years.

Man U sucks! my team in the England Premiership would have to be Aston Villa.

8 Titles in 11 seasons actually(Blackburn won 1 and the Arse nicked 2 in that span.)
This season's Title is perhaps the greatest of the 8 in that United were 8 points behind at the beginning of March. They had 7 players out for extended spells in the Fall/Winter and many wnet under the knife BUT the heart that beats under the Red kit is amazing. A young and constantly shuffled defense has allowed the fewest goals in the EPL this season. Great strides were made by Wes Brown, John O'Shea, Silvestre, Forlan and Phil Neville. Ruud & Scholes had their best years ever. This title is a glorious one. Now we have to see who comes and who goes this summer. I'm going to see the lads in Seattle & LA. I'm pumped. Nice to have OUR trophy back at Old Trafford! |

ManU's 16point swing was very impressive. From the games I saw, in my opinion, O'Shea should have won the young player award. He had excellent games against Real. But of course voting was done before all that so people couldn't take those performances into account.
ManU certainly does buy some of its talent (Ferdinand for #30 million) while Arsenal lacks the budget (I think Wiltord is their largest buy at #11million). But Real goes out and spends its money more freely than either team. Figo, Zidane, and Ronaldo were all bought within the past couple years for insane amounts of money.

Barthez may be on the way out too.
There's also all the talk about Beckham, but he's no real loss on the pitch only financially, because he brings in a lot of revenue through jersey sales and what not. If they were smart they would get rid of both Nevilles. Solksjaer should leave. RVN is a good player, Forlan is nothing special. They need another striker or two, Gudjohnson has been mentioned but he's crap. Harry Kewell has not confirmed he's leaving Leeds and who's to say he'll go to Utd. If Pires leaves Arsenal, I'd say Kewell might go there. |

A lot of rumours about the future of Beck in MU, but I think there is no way that he is to leave, at least for the next season. For the Nevilles, I think Gary can return to his best form soon, but Phil is never in a good form.
MU got a problem in goal keeper. If they can take Cudicini, that is good, but I don't think Chelsea would surrender their best keeper. Or maybe James, because the Hammers just relegated. |
