Really? This is what I found.
He was the first FA to sign a million-dollar contract, with the Indians for 10 years, and was waived after five after hurting his arm warming up on his FIRST DAY of spring training for the Indians, pitching poorly that year, undergoing surgury the next year, and never was the same. My guess is that you are closer though.
