A.J. Feely to Dolphins?
I watched him play a couple of games and he was pretty decent... I guess he will compete for the starting job with one of these rookies we pick up.... hmmm i dont know...

Man, Fiedler isn't THAT bad, he just get's hurt at the wrong time. Trade for new trainers and draft a new QB.

They could just wait until March and sign Kurt Warner or Jeff Garcia, both of whom might be released.

Warner won't be released, it would cost the Rams a $5 million cap hit. I doubt the Dolphins are picking up Feeley to compete for the starting job, it just means that either Fiedler or Griese is gone and Feeley will be a cheaper back-up. I agree that they need to fix the o-line more than the qb spot though.

feely has allready been named the starter. i am from philly, and i think this is a classy move from the eagles standpoint. they knew he would never be the qb around here, so they wanted to give him a chance somewhere else, and we got a 2nd round pick. good news for both teams and for feely himself.

According to PTI, Jay Fiedler has the best winning percentage of any active QB not named Tom Brady. Something tells me it ain't his fault...

You have to scapegoat somebody.. Fiedler not playing full seasons, added to the Dolphins' playoff drought. After last year, going 10-6 and still not getting in, the feeling is probably that drastic changes have to be made.

Just cut him. The Ravens could use a veteran backup who knows how to win.

A.J. is a good QB his is one of the QB that will surprise some team who gives him a chance. This is a great move for both teams. I really hope Miami gives him a shot. If not someone will be very happy with Kurt Warner.

The main problem in Miami is not the QB, it's the offensive line. When Ricky Williams is averaging 2 yards a carry, there is a problem. Granted, teams were stacking 10 guys in the box, but they were still managing to get to the quaterback in 3 seconds when they tried play action. If that line could block for any kind of play, either Fiedler or Griese would be fine. I never understood why they went after Griese and kept Fiedler, why pay two guys both that much money? I assume that both Fiedler and Griese will be gone and they will get the same output out of Feeley for 1/10 the price. If they don't improve the o-line and playcalling, it won't matter. The good news is that offensive genius Norv Turner is gone, so they might actually run some plays that work.

I totally agree with everyone who said miami's main problem is O-line... Ive been telling everyone of my buddies who have been bashing feidler that its not his fault... but oh well... if we go in to the season with the same type of o-line, i dont care who we have at QB, we are gonna play like shit again!
I just hope that feeley is worth what we are paying the guy and giving up. Time will tell... |

yup, O-Line is the problem, Fiedler has about .43 seconds in the pocket before he gets sacked, it's disgusting. He's a decent QB and that's really all the Dolphins need to go deep in the playoffs. As long as Ricky and Chambers stay healthy and we improve our O-Line, they'll be fine.
