Tick...tock...tick tock...
damn clock is not ticking fast enough for me and the start of the baseball season:(
The American league is going to be a tough one this season...especially out here in the West. GO HALOS!!! |
go 'stros.
with petite, clemons, oswalt, and miller, the 'stros sure are loaded! |
Angels suck!
Ok, not really :D...but they did steal away the Orioles future hall-of-fame rightfielder ;) I think the AL East will be the toughest division in baseball. The Orioles could end up above .500 and finish fourth again. Then again, the Yankees and Red Sox could have all their injury risks hit at once and collapse and it'll be a Baltimore-Toronto race to October. |

Did you forget Duckworth?? This kid is going to be a great pitcher if he can keep his head together. He tends to fall apart once he gets men on base. I think this season away from Philly might be just what he needs. |
My concern with the Astros (and believe me, I'm grasping) is that they don't have a proven bullpen. Octavio Dotel is solid, but he isn't established as a closer. The rotation is amazing, but if someone isn't waiting to close it out, it could be trouble in the same division as the Cubs.
In response to the original statement of this thread.........Pitchers and catchers report in a few days!!! |
billy wagner was a great closer, but they traded him :(
|
Dotel will be fine and they got Bradon Lidge (I think this is right) to help him out.
