That was a good game. I picked the Patriots to win, but I'm a huge Panthers fan (I live in NC, after all). Man, we were so close. It was a good game.

Branch should have been MVP. 143 Yards and a TD on 10 catches. Brady played good, but I wanted to see Deion get it.

Let me explain it again. if you picked the Panthers, you won your bet. Spread was 7 points.

Game should have gone to OT... how in the world do you kick the ball out of bounds?!?

Still, overall, one of the best Super Bowls I've seen.

No dog in the race, but what a Great game! To bad the turning point was a knuckleheaded kicker who can't hit a rectangle 55 yards wide by 75 yards deep!!!

ahh god, i am such a happy man right now.

and while i was shouting and screaming for the entirety of the 4th quarter, i have to admit: i've never respected an opposing team more than i respect the panthers right now.

Actually with Montana, I mean Brady, you guys didn't stand a chance. The Panthers left Brady too much time at the end to win it (1:04 plus 3 timeouts). Even if Kasay hadn't fudged-up the kick off, Brady would've brought them to the promise land.

Pretty amazing, though, how many points and big plays the Panthers got off of the Pats D. Kinda makes one wonder if Foxboro and the fans were the real difference in the Patriots' Super Bowl run.

The Panthers are the only team in the NFL who could have played the Pats that well. Truly a championship game between the two best teams in the NFL. Congrats to all the Pats fans from a huge Panther fan.

I'm glad I picked this one to be the only game I watched this year, very entertaining! Carolina had a really impressive comeback, I really thought it was going to go into OT. I also thought the special teams for both kinda sucked until that awesome 2-pointer by the Pats. Oh yes, and how can I forget:

Ah, the Patriots. Do only what it takes to win, nothing more, nothing less. It has been one heart attack after another the whole fricken' season. I'm exhausted and happy.

Yes. I woke up this morning, turned on Sportscenter to see the recaps of the game, and they were talking insane amounts of crap about the Panthers, making like the Pats had completely levelled them. Except the Pats won with a field goal with nine seconds left. Some ass-kicking...

that game was retarded. john fox really needed to run the ball on carolina's last drive to waste the clock. they got the ball with something like 2 min and 48 seconds left... and i remember telling my friends that NE would get the ball back w/ plenty of time to kick a FG. They could've passed it like they did, but at least drain down the playclock, damn, i'm glad NE won, i totally saw it coming before kasay's shytty kick.

Yeah, too much time was left on that clock, John Fox needs to work on clock management just a little bit. However, let me say this, until Brady throws a TOUCHDOWN PASS to win the game, the Montana comparisons need to stop. None of this "let's get in range" bullshit. However, Carolina had a very damn good chance to win this, they weren't the outside shots to win against the greatest team ever. These two teams were equal and Carolina made the last mistake instead of the second to last mistake.

I knew Pats were going to win when Sports Illustrated had the Panthers on the cover the week prior to the game.

They did it to the Eagles and Colts.

The SI curse is ALIVE. Please don't ever put the Giants there. They don't need the help.
