I think Kaman should be the starting center for the Rookies. He deserves it.

It's hard to call Luke Walton a snub, but it woulda been nice seeing as this game WILL be in LA.

I really don't have much discontent with these picks.

Yao made both the Sophomore team and the All-Stars starting roster.

That's impressive, but is it deserved?

He posts better stats then all East Coast big men minus O'Neal and Wallace. I think the Sophmores are going to crush the Freshie's.

I think Boozer is about to step up to get his rep up. The numbers he put up in Bron's absence were insane. Glad I have him on my fantasy team!!!

And he can't do anything else, besides turn the ball over. He can't shoot worth crap. .

Plus, they already had enough guards on the Rookie Team, they needed more big men.

I like the first comment (reply) to this thread regarding Kaman. A buddy of mine has Clipper season tix and I'm always at the games with him. I've been fortunate to have seen this rook improve over the course of this short season. This kids got potential.

Sophs gonna take it I'm afraid, even with LeBron and Melo playing for the Fishes.

I think I would have to go with the freshman. Lebron and Melo, say no more.

The rookies' don't stack up with the big men of the Sophomores though, Bosh, Haslem, Howard and Kaman compared to Yao, Amare, Nene and Boozer.

Yao isn't playing in that game now. So the rookies match up better. Plus, these types of games are made for good guards, which the rookies are loaded with. The rookies guards and small forwards are way better than the sophs.

Although, it's very possible that LeBron or Boozer get named to the All Star team with Yao, and that'll change things even more. Has anyone been named to replace Yao?

On paper the Sophs look really good. They have a few all stars and a few great players (boozer, ming, ginobili). But than again you can't doubt the Rooks..>TJ ford missing is a suprise. But I am really glad Hinrich made it, I really like this guy.

Yes he is, you can play in both games this year.
