I really don't know what Ainge was thinking getting rid of Walker. I mean Pierce is franchise, but he has no big man playing with him. I think its so ridiculous that Boston is probably going to make the playoffs with a less then .500 record (at the rate its going anyway. I suppose thats more a reflection on the Eastern Conference though.

The Ricky Davis trade did it for me. Boston needs size down low and they gave away Tony Battie for Davis. Granted, Battie isn't the most dominating force in the paint....but a big man for the baggage of Ricky Davis just doesn't make a lot of sense.

It's pretty sad when I get excited and fired-up for re-runs of the glory days of the 1980s on ESPN Classic, and can't even sit through a quarter of the 21st century "Celtics".
Perhaps this is Ainge's way of getting back at the organization that traded him for Joe Klein and Ed Pinckney. God they suck. |

hopefully joe dumars and larry bird will take note of ainges game plan and send ben wallace and jermaine oneal to the west...so the east could be totally without any big men.
then after that...all the east would look the same and decide to use the run and gun offense and play zone for d. just like college ball!!! wait...fuck.
