Green Bay Coaching Changes
I am a massive Packers fan, anyone else here a huge fan?
What does everyone think about Sherman's decision to axe Donatell and Jagodzinski from his staff? On the whole Donatell did a fairly good job, i dont know who could do better. But someone needs to get the axe, and Sherman wasnt gonna fire himself! |

I haven't seen much of the Pack this year, but I don't understand why "someone needs to get the axe". They made it to the postseason, that makes them better than most teams out there. And they even won a round.
I'm a Patriots fan, and if we had lost in the first round of the playoffs, I would have said "Not bad, let's try again". I wouldn't be screaming for someone's head.

I think what prompted the changes was how they made the playoffs. It took a fluke win by Arizona to get them in. Granted they won the wildcard game and took Philly into overtime but they were very inconsistent during the regular season. Like every other team hope for the best in personnel changes and see what happens next year. Sometimes coaches get too comfortable and a shake-up is needed just to motivate the players. Cincy is a good example of this.
