Hope everyone watched the Philly-Carolina game tonight. Should silence the doubters.

Wow...I thought that the Eagles would make short work of them. They sure proved me wrong.
This could be an interesting Super Bowl.

I think the Eagles choked under the weight of too many expectations.

The doubters should indeed be silenced but will the Cats get any more respect? I sure hope so. They dominated the Birds.

As soon as McNabb went down, I knew the Eagles would also. The Panthers have played like this all year. They deserve to be going to the big game.

This year has already proven that yet again. The only question is which of these two great Ds will reign supreme at the SB.

Very surprised at the outcome. I thought the Eagles would have won the game, not without a fight, but still won. They were totally dominated. It's just weird seeing the Panthers in the Super Bowl.

Go Cats! Bring the title to the Carolinas, and silence all those doubters.

gonna be tough for them to beat the Pats...but New England is used to outhitting their opponents... not gonna happen here!

Should be g ood Defensive Superbowl...of course that means the bulk of the country will be bored and say it is horrible. But true football fans know better!

I'm predicting a 7-5 (Panthers) outcome with as little action in the redzone as possible. ;)

No surprise. The Eagles offense depended too much on Brian Westbrook(yah Villanova!). Their whole season turned around when he increased his touches(rather than Staley). His punt returns usually gave Philly great field position and he could always be depended on to break a few runs/passes for long gains. He opened up the receivers due to his short threat in the west coast offense.

Once he went down in the last game of the season(triceps tear), the short threat was removed, and the receivers were less open. The only reason philly beat GB was McNabbs 100+ yards rushing which GB was totally unprepared for. When they made adjustments, they opened up the secondary(4th and 26!)

Credit to the panthers. Their aggressive pass coverage shut down the WC offense- mighta been a different story though with Westbrook in there. Once McNabb was injured(a cheap shot with no flag I might add), his long ball and rush threats were removed and carolina coulda sat on thier asses and still won

The loss didn't bother me or most of Philly that much- We knew that without Westbrook we never would have beaten NE in the Bowl anyhow

Should be a good Bowl, but I gotta give the nod to the experienced team
