Isiah Thomas... the Knicks' answer?

I don't really like the Knicks, but I'm applauding the attitude adjustment. Isiah Thomas came in and started kicking ass the moment his contract was signed. The team was directly affected by his ambitious personnel moves and his 1 on 1 discussions with each of them. Now, they are on a nice winning streak, beating teams with authority, and you get the feeling it can continue a little longer.

I say, if the Knicks continue like this, Thomas will achieve Mayor Rudy status.

I don't have faith in Thomas. Look at the Pacers; before, during and after his tenure there. Soon the Knicks will start carrying blades in their jocks.

Isiah can only get them so far. They have very little talent, their only advantage is that they are in the East. After getting rid of Sprewell they are a team without a true weapon, at least the Pacers have some actual players.

Thomas has a history of wearing out his welcome: Detroit, Toronto, the CBA, Indiana. While I wish him well, I have my doubts about the long-term in New York.

Isiah Thomas might be good but the Knicks lack talent and the team would get better unless they can get some superstars there.

Isiah Thomas might have just been a quick rush of adrenaline but he will soon fester and start to smell.

Hopefully McDyess can really get back to his old form, cause he was always one of my favorite players. Pity his knee is kinda dodgy....

The team isn't too bad nevertheless, but are probably missing Sprewell's snarl and grit :D Although they were no good last year anyway

Isiah Thomas is such a great business man he bankrupted the CBA that a family had been running for years and have since got it back up and running. He has run out or been fired from every job with an NBA team. I think he is a circus show, that may be able to motivate spoiled NBA players out of fear for a couple of games...but that usually wears off. They lost to the crappy Bulls tonight, so we will see what happens.

McDyess will not be a Knick for long. He has an attractive contract for other teams.

I agree, he has done nothing postive within the boundaries of basketball. Yes, he might have coached the Pacers to the best record in the East last year so he could coach the All-Star team but where was he when they collapsed? I think he might have been thinking about the nexy guady suit he was going to wear next game. The CBA and Raptors were a bust so I was really curious why they would hire this idiot to run the Knicks. the only thing I can say is sorrry, sorry to the Knicks fans for having him in your organization.
