I haven't skated seriously in about 13 years or so, but pretty much everything is based around the ollie. Learn to ollie good and you'll be ok. I'm not sure of any websites, but pick up a Thrasher magazine or Transworld Skateboarding and check them out. Or just google "skateboarding tricks" or something like that, I'm sure you'll get a few hundred thousand matches. You might want to think about shin guards and hip pads too, I never really skinned up my knees or elbows, but sure did fuck up my hips and shins.
Good luck |

IMO websites don't really help, you need to repeat the motions several times and find out what works for you.
Watch some people skate, or ask them how to do certain things, or watch skateboard vids in super slow mo to see how the pros do it. Anything in skateboarding has to be learned through constant repetition, there's no way around it. When I used to skate I usually skinned my knees, elbows and hands, but I noticed that your body learns how to fall after a while.
