Another Fantasy Football Q: Who to start?
Championship Sunday.
There are 12 slots that I can fill up for this Sunday, I have a few worked out, but I need to know which other ones I should use. 2 QB Slots. 3 WR Slots. 2 RB Slots. 1 TE Slot. 1 WR/TE Slot. 3 WR/RB Slots. Who should I start out of this roster. QB Culpepper (He's In) QB Tim Hasselback QB Drew Brees WR Anquan Boldin (He's In) WR Coles (He's In) WR Dante Hall (I get 1 point for every 10 Kick/Punt return yards) WR Peerless Price WR David Givens RB Priest Holmes (He's In) RB Moe Williams RB Michael Bennett RB Onterrio Smith RB Richie Anderson RB Quentin Griffin TE Freddie Jones (He's In) TE Jim Kleinsasser (He's In) I have 6 slots filled up, who else should I start? Which kicker to start also, Elam or Hall? Last edited by AL9045; 12-22-2003 at 06:04 PM.. |

First off, I think you are making a mistake starting both Jones and Kleinsasser, and really it's a toss-up which to start.
Backup QB - Hasselbeck. Philly will be without both Emmons and Vincent this week and Hass is coming off his best game as a pro. Coles could have a big game this week. Go with Hall as you're 3rd WR. The return yards make the difference. Take Price for your swing WR/TE slot over one of the TE's. Though Vick and Price haven't hooked up big in the few games Vick has been back, he's getting the looks. There is always the chance he could bust a big play with all of the passes coming his way and the D focusing on Vick. For the #2 RB definately go with Griffin. Portis will be held out with the ankle again this week. He should get most of the carries over Anderson and has better breakaway abilty. For the 3 RB/WR swing slots go with Bennet/Smith/Anderson. Against Arizona there should be more than enough carries to go around for both Bennett and Smith. Though Bennet is also nursing a bum ankle, he could only get minimal time. See what happens tomorrow with the injury report. If he is questionable Moe might be a better play. Anderson could have a decent game because he is also involved in the pass attack and Hambrick is struggling. Really though, I think you have slim pickens here and could almost just flip a coin to decide who to start. Good luck. |
