BCS should be BSC

The system is a joke!!! It should be called the Bull S%@t Chamionship. How can the #1 team in both polls not be in the so called national champioship game? College football needs a playoff system. I'm not a fan of any of the teams in it (I'm a CSU fan), but the system sucks. What a farce.....

Who do you all think should be in the championship game...

BCS WORKS! The one and ONLY purpose of the bcs is to decide who plays in national championship game and it DID it.

Out of the 3 one loss teams in the country, the best were OU/LSU and they WILL play for MNC.

Am I the only one that finds this ironic ?

I guess we will see if LSU deserved to go to the Sugar Bowl by how they play in that situation.

Either way, the Rose Bowl is looking mighty tasty.

If all the BCS is supposed to do is decide who plays for the championship, then I think it should be Texas and CSU, NOT!. The #1 team in the country and PAC 1o Champion and the SEC Champion should be playing, not the Big 12 runner up! The system is a joke, if Notre Dame beat Syracuse then USC goes to the championship. The whole system does not make sense. If OU and/or LSU were the best teams, then how come the coaches and writers around the country do not agree. College football needs to get a playoff system and come out of the dark ages...

God will I love it when Michigan beats USC and puts them in their place.

Personally, I'll enjoy it more when LSU beats Oklahoma 24-3, USC beats Michigan 45-10, and the Pac 10 withdraws from the BCS and leads a lawsuit to prevent it's continuation.

I would love a split Nat'l Champ. It would discredit the BCS.

USC 45-10 over UofM? That shows that you know very little about college football. There is no way UofM would get blow out that bad. They are on a roll, and if they hadn't had a slump early in the season, would be playing for the national championship.

Although I'm a little biased, after watching several USC games, I don't see anything that justifies a blowout by USC over Michigan. Thats going to be a GREAT game!!

I love the bowl games!!!

Yeah, and their's no way Oklahoma could lose 35-7 either, right

All this whining from USC fans has me this ][ close to rooting for Michigan The reason the polls were dilluted for the BCS is that they show a historic bias for the coastal confrences. Margin of victory was eliminated because teams were scheduling weak teams to inflate offensive stats, a 40 point win over Eastern Podunk Bible School DOES mean less that a 2 point victory over Georgia, thats why opponents strenghth of schedule is factored in.
The PAC10 came out no worse than the BIG10. What was supposed to be a really strong schedule was dilluted by all the upset wins that happened this year.

the point is: anything can happen in college football....and it often does. anyone who professes to know how close or not close a college football game will be, is just running thier yap for the sake of running thier yap. enjoy the bowl games and leave the prognostication to the morons who get paid for it.

GO VOLS!!! KILL IOWA!!!!

BCS does not completely work. How can the team lose it's division championship game and play for the #! spot ? OU is not the best team in their division. Also it's supposed to eliminate teams playing each other 3 times a year (see FSU).

It did eliminate the top 3 teams playing in 3 different bowls. It needs to be tweeked (again).

You got to admit, there is going to be some awesome games!

You said there is NO WAY Michigan would get blown out, and questioned my football knowledge. Well, since Oklahoma is a better team then Michigan, and playing a worse team then USC, they shouldn't get blown out, 35-7.

I think its a bigger joke how OU isn't even being considered #1 in the coaches poll, despite them absolutely annihilating just about every other team.

I agree though, the BCS is one big joke, and they need a top 8 team playoff, end of story.

Your assuming that im going off of records, which im not. If I was, USC has a better record. I'm going on the fact that UofM has been on a roll, and I think USC is just overrated enough to where they are going to lose. No blowouts on this one though, it will be close.

OU just found out that their defensive coordinator, aka, the guy that helped recruit a lot, is going to another school. Thats demoralizing, and OU just didn't bring it to K-state, and paid dearly. UofM will be bringing more than USC is going to be able to handle.

This part I agree with, I think it is BS that USC is number 1 in both polls. I mean I think it would be a great boost to the PAC-10 if USC played in the Sugar Bowl, but I don't think they deserve to.

We had a case with Oregon, we don't have a case now. Although next year looks to be a great year for the PAC-10.

I agree with you. There needs to be change and the only way it will happen is with a split. I have always quietly rooted for Michigan, but not in this game. USC has to win to screw the BCS and cause some sort of a playoff, even if it was just one game following the regular bowls (and it should be in Vegas).

The BCS is crap it screws over us pac-10 schools. Hence why Oregon didnt go to the national championship with Joey adn the reason USC didnt go this year.
