Maryland went something like 38-56 on free-throws.
Gary Williams wasn't happy. And neither were the fans when Hofstra kept fouling with a minute left and down by 15.

okay... I'm not sure if I'll get the exact record (not sure its kept) but here we go through the record book...
Mike Pflugner of Butler fouled out in 1996 of a game in just 1:38. Fouls - record is 50 by Arizona vs. Northern Arizona in 1953 Fouls, both teams - record is 84 in guess which game? Arizona vs. Northern Arizona in '53. I'd get my fuckin money back. Players Disqualified - 8 - St. Joseph vs. Xavier, 1976 Players Disqualified, both teams -12 - UNLV vs. Hawaii in 1979 and Arizona vs. West Texas A&M in 1952 Fouls Per Game, Season - 29.3 Indiana, 1952 There are alot more. They are fun to look at and think "how amazingly awful is that?" |

Imagine getting 8 guys disqualified. You have no bench, and depending on injuries and such, may have to play shorthanded.
