With this win, WVU just needs to beat Temple to atworst finish in a tie for the Big East Championship. One heck of a turn around after a 1-4 start. They finally got their act together and showing what kind of team we all knew they could be. I want the Gator Bowl Bid sooo bad so I can make a trip to Jacksonville! Never been to Florida so it would be awesome. We got robbed of it last year because of Notre Dame's crappy affiliation with the Big East. Although after watching them play in the Tire Bowl last year...I don't know if we deserved to play in the Gator. This year is different though. Much more experienced. I'm just praying that NC State beats Maryland today. If Maryland were to win today, that means no Gator for us...they don't want a rematch...although I'd really like one considering we played terrible against Maryland the past two years. Sure would be interesting. But anyways....what's some predictions for the bowl games? What about the 4 BCS bowls: Fiesta? Orange? Rose? Sugar? and any others?

compared to their early season results (losing at home to Cincy?), WVU is the most improved team in the nation!

I'm not sure how interested I am in seeing any team from the Big East in a big bowl match-up. It's been a down year for the conference.

That said, the quarterback over at WVU is a nice athlete, and WVU has won when they have needed to. In short, they deserve alot of credit.

If WVU wins the Big East they do not get an auto BCS bid. So if Pitt beats Miami no BCS bid for the Big East...they should get used to that..

Actually that's not true. The Big East is guaranteed a BCS bid for the conference champion since it is one of the major 6 conferences. WVU's only shot at it is if Pitt beats Miami, and is no more than 5 places ahead of WVU in the BCS rankings. That's very doubtful b/c Pitt will get a heck of a lot of bonus points for defeating Miami. So more than likely Pitt will get the bid over WVU if they beat Miami. If Miami beats Pitt, then Miami gets it out right since they won the head to head over WVU. So I'm just praying that Wake defeats Maryland next week, considering NC State gave the game away tonight

. If not, it looks like it will be back to the Tire Bowl again for WVU. Not a bad bowl, would just like to see them get higher than that after last year being 2nd in the league, which should've been the Gator Bowl, and this year a tie for 1st in the league, which should be possibly the Orange Bowl (BCS Bowl) or atleast the Gator this year. But looks doubtful

But it's all up in the air as of now...still another week and anything could happen

If only WVU would've came alive against Cincy, Wisconsin, and Miami. Then we wouldn't even have these problems. I'm not even gonna count the Maryland game, was way out of reach. Played terrible!!
