College Wrestling
There's a severe lack of college wrestling, or any type of wrestling (WWF crap doesn't count) on this forum. So, I thought I'd open this thread.
I currently attend Davidson College where I start at 184 lbs. I went to high school at Blair Academy (#1 in the US) where I started at 135 and 152. I've wrestled for about 13 years now. That's just to let you know where I'm coming from. All you wrestling lovers out there rejoice! Our time is here to bs about our favorite sport! |
Awesome, I used to wrestle, never was any good though, but it's addictive. I just decided to pursue other things like politics and international relations, and plus rugby is my new sport now. Though I must say that wrestling is probably the most tough mentally and physically on a person than any other sport.

Hah cool i used to wrestle but i was really bad so i gave it up! :)
We used to hear stories about you guys and St. Eds and stuff (we're in ohio so a lot about St Eds) and your stud wrestlers. I don't know it just doesn't appeal to me, i pretty much spend 100% of my time now getting ready for football and such |
I wasn't much into wrestling in high school season conflicted with soccer. I do believe from what I've seen and read, that college wrestlers are the most dedicated athletes to their sport, physically and mentally. I'm not sure if that just applies to Div. 1 or all schools, so there is my opinion.
