The future stars of college football...
well, as we all know the Hurricanes offense is subpar, but after watching a true freshman Tyrone Moss single handedly getting us a victory against Syracuse today, It made me curious, who are the stars of tomorrow...
So i guess i will start it off by saying Tyrone Moss, Remember his name, He should be another one of the many great miami running backs, a sure starter next season. He gained 91 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown in a little over a quarter of football today, thats pretty amazing (considering the weakness/inexperience of miami's O-line). who's next... |

Well a young reciever I like is Santanio Holmes, a freshmen at Ohio st. He has stepped in for Drew Carter and really has shown himself as a force to be recond with.

Josh Allen. Will be the greatest running back in Maryland history. Has the power to break free of anyone, and the speed to outrun them.

Casey Paus from Washington
He came in a few games ago and just lit everything up in place of Cody Pickett. Everyone at washington is talking about how good of a QB this guy is going to be. Watch for him!! and The_Dude stole my other answer of Vince Young, either him or Marcus Vick will be the most highly recruited NFL QB's...heck they probably both will be when their time comes! |

Vince Young just OWNZ! Hold on kids, he hasn't been put in a position to lose yet. He has all the skills, but he hasn't yet put it all together in a game that is bigger than Texas/Baylor. Vince Young doesn't deserve Michael Vick comparisons till he learns the forward pass.
Next years stars: Fitzgerald, as The Dude mentioned. Roethlesberger, QB, Miami OH Justin Zwick, QB, Ohio State Moss, RB, Miami Fl Leak, QB, Florida - very impressive so far Laurence Maroney, RB, Minnesota Of, course, this is all a crap shoot. Just my opinion. |

Josh Swogger of Wahington State. He kicked our ass (ASU) on Saturday, and he's a true freshman. Look for that name in a couple of years, he's in the pass happy pac-10 (Jason Gesser had good stats and he sucked) so he'll put up some bigass numbers in his career.
Vince Young is a hell of an athlete, but he might end up being labeled like chris sims if he can't beat OU. I hate florida, but I have to say Leak is a winner. I don't know about Tyrone Moss, but Larry Fitzgerald has proven himself for 16 straight games (TD's in every one). If you could leave as a soph, NFL teams would be fighting over him in April. No one has mentioned MARCUS VICK? He may not have put up pretty stats this year, but he should definitely be mentioned in next years stars. He looked cool and collected against Miami, thats for sure.

Watch Ahmad Brooks out of UVA for a sleeper future star, this guy has the talent to be one of the best Linebackers ever.
