College Football Saturday, Oct. 25th
Heres a place to post your thoughts about another college football Saturday.
The biggest upset so far has been the Wisconsin loss to Northwestern. Surely, this is an upset - but Northwestern is far from the worse team in the league (Indiana), they have a nice RB and D. Georgia survived a scare from lowly UAB. Georgia is not the best one-loss team in the nation - they'll lose again before the year is out. Looks like Michigan will handle Purdue - too much offense even for Purdue's good defense - and Michigan still controls its own destiny within the Big-10. Penn State played quite well - they've got alot of talent - it's just really, really, young talent. They expect to have fourteen starters back for next year. Boston College beat Notre Dame in a passionate game - might be the most thrilling game yet today - and another classic meeting in this series. The late games should be excellent, I'll post some thoughts on them as they go final. Last edited by gov135; 10-25-2003 at 12:53 PM.. |

Notre Dame sucks....and will continue their losing streak. How dare they talk about getting a bowl game last year?
Georgia barely won and they didnt play like a #4 (#3 since V-Tech lost) Okie State is rapin aTm in the ass right now. 28-ZERO. okie state is pretty good this year.

I still think MiamiOH is the best team in the MAC, as I've said a few times here. But MiamiOH is in a dogfight right now. Northern Illinois is probably the third-best team in the MAC. |

Another ranked team falls - Utah (#24) took a step backwards in a setback to New Mexico, 47-35. It is going to take some time for Urabn Meyer to build a winning program, and inconsistent play will plague Utah until they have depth at positions.

I think that OU will be so fired up for revenge against Oklahoma State that they are going to mop the field with them. But who knows, we're just gonna have to wait a week and see =)
And its gonna be a close game in East Lansing next week, but my Wolverines will prevail!

I know I need to give coach Morriss time, but this was the crap that happenned last year, and now it seems Baylor has quit again. Everyone laughed when we lost to UAB, but we lost on a last second pass, now that loss doesn't look so bad, but still...
We couldn't even score on the third team, and we haven't played Tech yet!! Speaking of Tech, I hate Jason White Heisman talk. There are at least two quarterbacks who are better just in the conference, and I don't think the heisman should be given to the big player on a great team, but the most outstanding player in all of college football. |
