mystery steroid?
 

today at practice my coach was talking about how some pro athletes were taking this steroid that did not show up on the tests, and this weekend about 40 athletes were caught. i know barry bonds was one and i think marion jones was another. he said most were in track but a few were in baseball and a few in football. anybody here of this, or have more info because this was all i got.

Bonds was testifying, but he didn't test positive I don't think.

Jason Giambi was also subpeoned (oh I know messed that spelling up).

The steroid is called "THG", apparently designed by chemists to be undetectable and have no conventional side effects.

They haven't been "caught", yet. They are clients of a corporation that may be (probably is) giving this stuff to athletes, so they are being asked what they know about it, and being asked to provide samples for testing.

They will probably be caught eventually, but the issue will come up as to "did they know". Many will likely say they didn't. Bonds' name being involved will probably help the athletes since MLBPA will do everything they can to make sure he (and therefore all the others) suffer as little punishment as possible.
