Ohio State - Another Nation Championship?

Even with their recent loss to wisconsin they are still in the running if some teams make key losses, so with that said do you think Ohio State has enough talent on their team to go up against powerhouses such as Oklahoma?

I've been watching OSU a lot this year and i just dont see the talent on the team like they had last year.

Opinions?

Not even close.

Teams just need to stick to running the ball. Wisconsin did, and look at the results.

The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!"

Its oklahoma or miami this year. I think its gonna be oklahoma though. OSU is going to lose to at least the Wolverines in the big house.

True true, i think other coaches will see what wisconsin did and mimic the nonstop run style. Ohio State will lose possibly 2-3 games this season.

OK Oklahoma will probably go to the NC, but i have my doubts with Miami they still have a tough Virginia Tech team to play, and if VT wins they'll be the ones going to the NC

I knew that the bucks would lose to Wisconsin, they should have beat them, but... With the lack of a running game, and why is that? They have such a dominating O line, that should be opening up holes, and they're not. Their D line is huge and should be forcing the Q back to make bad decisions, and is not happening. I think they'll lose at least 2 more games, but not to that team in the north.

I doubt Ohio State could beat Northern Illinois either place.

Wisconsin showed how to beat Ohio State. Monkey see, monkey do.

Everyone else here is being nice. Ohio State finishes 7-5, wins against Inidana and Penn State and that's it, unless Joepa pulls off a miracle at home and beats them too. Yes, that's predicting that they lose to Purdue and Michigan State in front of the home crowd.

Ohio State sucks, I think the Sooners will win it all this year. They looked nasty in their game against Texas.

Yea this is probably one of the best Oklahoma teams ever if they continue to play like they did against Texas.

I think Virginia Tech will pull it out over Miami and make it to the big show - OU still has a couple of rough teams ahead of them(Oklahoma State always gives the Sooners their roughest game of the year - and it doesn't matter what the record of either team is going in - It is pure hatred - through and through). I am predicting OU over VT 54-14.

Ohio State plays Iowa Saturday. Let's see how one of the nation's worst offenses does against Iowa's 9th ranked defense.

We're mostly a lucky offense (without clarrett) and an excellent defense. To say we will get another championship I don't think anyone expects now, right now I think the only thing anyone really cares about is beating Michigan.

Oklahoma is the best team out there right now. PERIOD. But Ohio State is not as bad as some think. The offense is in the ditch right now, but last year the offense was 10th out of 11 in the big ten, yet they won the NC. So why would the coaches change anything if they keep winning. Now that it "broke" its time to fix the offense. The Iowa game is going to show a lot more versitility out of the OSU offense. There may be another loss for the Buckeyes this year, but not this week. If Gamble had not fumbled the punt then blown coverage on evans there would not even be this discusion.

OSU has too many holes to go all the way, OK seems to be very solid so I agree with the rest. I'm obviously a Michigan fan and be through a rough ride this year but I still think Michigan has enough talent and pride to pul off that game. However, this week vs Purdue and next week @ MSU will be very tough! GO BLUE!!

I'm a buckeye fan, and i know they wont go to the national championship this year because, well frankly, they suck. BGSU would of beat them if they didnt fumble the ball on the goal line and that last pass of the game wasent droped. They will get a bowl game, just not the NS.

It's going to be Miami and Oklahoma.

The one loss teams are out of luck.

The Bucks, unless they find an offense, are going to lose at least one more down the stretch.

Thanks for listening.
