Fantasy Football QB Question
I am in a salary cap league with a $1000 cap, and this week is the first week that they are upgrading the players' prices, so I need to balance a decent score against their likely price improvement. Their prices are going up based solely on their performance so far.
Jake Delhomme is only $40 (no other starter is less than $65) and Gus Ferrotte is $53. Delhomme is playing the defensively depleted Saints and Ferrotte is playing the Falcons, which should I use? I know Delhomme will not put up amazing numbers, but he should go up at least $20-25, while Ferrotte will probably not start again this year and will probably go up only a few dollars, but will most likely have a better game this week. I am leaning toward Delhomme. What do you guys think? |
Just my opinion, but I think you are overanalyzing a little bit - you still need to field the best team. Atlanta's defense is banged up as well, Ferrotte will put up better numbers and will help you win.

I'm in the same type of league and I chose Ferrote this week for two reasons:
a.) he will bring in some good numbers b.) an upgrade might just come because of his play. The first reason being most important. A few extra bucks won't make up as much as a great QB performance against a defence that's having some problems against the pass. |
