canucks-wild

what an ending that was.holy shit with seconds left they tie, then put the wild away in OT

go canucks go...................all the way to the cup

splck 04-26-2003 06:55 AM

I was jumping up and down like a crazy man. Talk about exitment, with 1.4 seconds left on the clock and they tied it up. Playoff hockey is the best:D
Woohoo....go Canucks!

Dr.Who 04-26-2003 10:06 AM

Great effort by the Canucks but watch out for the Wild, it's not over. Just like Anaheim, they look like there on a mission and have faith on there side.

JoeyB 04-26-2003 02:23 PM

Minnesota doesn't have a lot of experience, which may have hurt them in Game 1.

However--an old coach of mine said something about young teams..."they're just dumb enough to NOT know that they're not supposed to win."

They rallied nicely against Colorado in the first round, so the Wild probably won't get too down about the loss. It looks like it's going to be a fun series to watch!

asmodaI 04-26-2003 11:50 PM

I was in total shock when Vancouver won, the hockey gods must have been with them. I was surprised too, it's not like Minnesota to do that.

Loup 04-27-2003 05:22 AM

At least tonights games (Ottawa/Philly & Vancouver/Minnesota)wont be over lapping like they did as with last nights games ... where I was flipping the channels like a mad man. I do have PiP, but wherever I put it on the screen, it's still in the way.

GuttersnipeXL 04-27-2003 11:46 AM

Vancouver all the way...It's been a long time coming, I think they've got a real chance to win it all this year!

Radio Monk33 04-27-2003 12:00 PM

What a crazy game...man I was ready to give up on them when they were down 3-1 in the third..

Looking forwards to tonights game :D

R-Dubb604 04-27-2003 06:25 PM

yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt believe it when we scored the winner!!

CANUCKS ALL THE WAY MAN!!!!!!!!!

plaino 04-27-2003 11:16 PM

Has been a great playoffs thus far.. I'm sure there are plenty more suprises to come!

The main question in my mind is, is Anahiem for real? Seems to be so far... 6-0 against arguably the 2 best teams in the west... wow!

GSRIDER 04-28-2003 08:28 AM

That was a great comeback... too bad I'm rooting for the Wild... damn I missed last nights game... gotta go to ESPN.

ahhh series tied. Manny out of the net.

matteo101 04-28-2003 01:57 PM

Vancouver allllll the way. They lost last night, but they will learn from it, and it will help them in the end. They need to keep hitting, and giving pucks away. Bertuzzi also needs to get a little more into the offence... other then that Nucks in 6

BELIEVE

Cubby 04-28-2003 02:10 PM

The Canucks are getting the chances and are getting the shots, they just need to start playing better defensively. There is no excuse for two goals so quick in last nights game. I hope they learned their lesson.

On the plus side it means game 5 back here in Vancouver and I'm going to that one! Should be a great match!

jmf1234 04-28-2003 06:10 PM

Minnesota's goingto win anyways. I mean just wait till it goes to st. Paul. you think you Canucks fans are crazy it will be thier first game back after beating Colorado. For a 3 year old team to do this is incredible.

Quadraton 04-29-2003 01:49 PM

The minute the Wilds defense gets the tiniest of cracks, then they're going down. Vancouver is just too dominant. However, the problem resides in the fact that the Wilds have been playing nearly flawless games up to this point. Finding that crack might be easier said than done.

Vancouver in 7. This one's going all the way.

Serpent 04-29-2003 03:23 PM

So it appears there are going to be 6 some guys in the penalty boxes when the game starts? i heard there were 4 10 minute game disconducts and 2 roughing penaltys that were given out at the end of game 2..

Antikarma 05-02-2003 07:56 AM

I LOVE the Canucks, have been a fan since the early 90's. But you have to give Minnesotta fans their props. Minnesotta is a city that loves hockey and never should have lost their team.

It's about time Minnesotta got back to this point :) Better luck to you guys NEXT year, after the Nucks win this year

GSRIDER 05-02-2003 09:54 AM

The series isn't over yet.

I think the Nucks have found the Wilds weak spot. But the fact reamins that niether team can seem to score unless there is a power play. That says something about the Wild's strong defence and sadly their lack of a strong offence.

Radio Monk33 05-02-2003 09:16 PM

Well, the Wild have blown the lead once more. Had a 1-0 lead, then a 2-1 lead, but ended up blowing it in the 3rd and let the Canucks win in OT.

Now they're in trouble down 3-1. No team has come back from 2 x 3-1 series in history.

Canucks all the way. :D Now for anaheim I guess..

GSRIDER 05-05-2003 10:19 AM

Dear Lord.... PLEASE help the wild tonight... I know they've said some bad things, I know they drink and smoke... but they are so young and do not know any better.

At least help the series go to a full 7 games.

Jinger 05-05-2003 02:21 PM

Game 5 tonight, and then on to round 3!?!?

Game 7 baby.

Radio Monk33 05-05-2003 08:27 PM

Ow, they're getting thrashed 6-2 at the end of the 2nd. :( I turned it off at 4-1, but I'll watch the 3rd. Hopefully there'll be some fighting to entertain me at least.

Serpent 05-05-2003 09:10 PM

7-2, think 7 goals is the highest so far in the playoffs this year.

GSRIDER 05-05-2003 09:11 PM

Oh ye of little faith..... the LORD STANLEY has answered my prayers!!!!

Loup 05-06-2003 09:03 AM

Getting nervous flyman? :)

Jinger 05-06-2003 03:44 PM

"Game 7 baby"

If it takes 7 for the Canucks to win this round, play on, big checks, many goals!
But I 'd be ok with them doing it in 6! :)

Dr.Who 05-06-2003 04:04 PM

I realy, realy, realy want the Canucks to go all the way but no goalie no candy. Cloutier is too average to take that team to the cup.
