I have started a head to head yahoo fantasy hockey league, and I really need managers ASAP. Normally I open the league up to anyone, but the past few years, we have had some real assholes join up. I would like to avoid that this year, and after being on these boards for quite awhile, I don't think that woud be a problem here. So if you would like to join sign up here:

there is a live draft on Monday, September 22, at 8:25 PM Eastern Time. If you can't be there for the live draft, you can still participate by setting up a draft priority list, and the computer will draft for you in order of your list and player availability. We have unlimited trades, and the rosters can be adjusted daily. If you have any questions, just post them here, and I will be happy to answer them. And, in case you are unfamiliar will yahoo leagues, they are free, so hurry up and join!

its not a problem if you want to set up that pre draft list and let the computer draft for you, it will be no problem. So if you wanna join, go ahead. Just please make sure that you will stick with it for the entire season before join. That seems to be a big problem, people dropping out mid season leaving an unmanaged team just sitting there. Anywho, you are more than welcome to join up.

Interesting to note that Dom. Hasek is nowhere to be found! Adding him could skew the goalie rankings, eh?

I think Hasek is gonna be a huge mistake for Detroit this season. I also think that Cujo getting hurt may be a blessing in disguise for the Wings. I never thought Hasek did that great of a job after he left Buffalo and with him returning after a year+ lay-off who knows. Cujo is still a phenomenal goalie and last year's loss to the Ducks was not his fault.

The Cujo/Hasek situation will be interesting to watch. My point, however, was the fact that Yahoo Sports hasn't even included Hasek on its players list. Even a rusty Hasek is a top 10 goalie, and that should affect the rankings and the draft.

("Rusty HaseK" has a cool ring to it! He needs to dye his hair red!)

As I stated before, all I ask is that you stick it out for the entire season, but I don't expect that to be a problem for you guys. For you guys who didnt get in, it is pretty easy to start your own league at yahoo, or even join one of the public leagues.
