There's already a thread about people in sports who piss you off now lets make one about people over the years who you've looked up to.

Magic Johnson - I saw him speak a couple years ago at my school. Very inspirational and a smart businessman.

Just an observation, but maybe you should learn to spell one of your sports heroes' names. I believe it's "Favre". :D

Shjon Podein.

He used to play for the Colorado Avalanche though I lost what happened to him after he was traded out. Sports heros also have to have a good presence in the community and Shjon made himself known in community service by choice, not because he was forced to.

I admire a lot of athletes for their skills and accomplishments, but none would be a hero. Too many are flawed in their personal lifes.

Everyone has problems sometime in their life, if they're famous however it gets blown out of proportion ten times over.

And Jadey, don't single me out, dragon2fire messed up too :)
