For the record, the second full week of the college football season is usually on of the worst. This is because league play hasn't really started yet, and the big boys won't play each other. Even the little boys don't play each other, instead playing some of the bigger schools for some extra revenue. So I did my best to find games that should be close - next week should provide better matchups.

I thought about creating one. But I thought:
1. Not everyone would be able to join, there is limited space, and you need a yahoo ID.
2. It requires a commitment from people. Alot of people don't like to sign up if they think they may forget from one week to the next.
3. This is much faster for people - you just make ten picks - then stop back Monday and see who won. It's supposed to be quick and fun.
4. This contest is open to everyone at TFP. I don't post the scores of those who lose. Where as, if you are in Yahoo pick'em, and go 4-10, everyone knows it. I keep those tidbits to myself. This way, people at TFP who don't normally follow sports can participate just to have fun. (This is also why I post the links at ESPN).
5. I was in a Pick'em contest with another board - but everyone had different screen names, so you didn't know who was who.
