Bobby Bonds, the former Major Leaguer and father of current San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds has passed away...

Very much a shame. Even though we knew it was coming since he was so sick, I think it would have been nice for him to see Barry pass Willie Mays

that sucks ... will put a damper on Barry's season possibly

This is a real shame. He was a great player. I feel for his entire family. It will be interesting to see if this makes Barry give it up after this season, or just gives him someone to dedicate his further efforts to.
