i was lucky my parents were cool about putting me into sports i wanted to do when i was younger. started soccer at age 5 and played till i was 15. lancer youth soccer league, played halfback or sweeper. i made it to the CSL all star league and got picked on to a great team. got to travel around the US and even one trip to England which was an awesome experience. won the league championship one year outta the two i played in the CSL. played one year of indoor soccer. team kinda sucked, where me and one other guy were the best players on the team. didn't go anywhere with that team.
played little league baseball for a couple years at age 9 and 10. did well in that. also was in gymnastics from the time i was 12 till 15. won state champion on the floor event when i was 14. i was always told i was good and could go far. just didn't have the interest to stick with it though once i hit highschool. did karate for a couple years at age 14 and 15. that was fun. once i hit highschool though it stopped. i was so lazy when i hit highschool. love basketball, and i think i'm good at it. pretty much hit the local parks to play. i play golf when i can, which is like 2 or 3 times a year i'll make it to the course. family and work keep me busy. but i'm a 15 handicap which aint too shabby for how much i get to golf. sometimes peopel i don't even know will approach me and tell me i have a beautiful swing..... too bad the flight of the ball doesn't match my swing though! lol. i'm pretty much a sports fanatic though. love watchin football, basketball, tennis, golf, baseball...... you name it, i'll watch it! |

Basketball - 4th-8th grade, and will be playing this year (I'm a Senior in high school)
Football - Quit 5th grade, but played my 6th grade year. I left it for awhile, then became a manager my Freshman year, and finally started playing again my Sophomore year and have stuck with it since. Baseball - 4th and 6th grade, alongside alot of tee-ball before I was in school. Tennis - This will be my first (and unfortunately last) year to play it, but I've played alot of tennis and raquetball growing up. Track - I plan to do Track this year, but I don't know if I can do tennis and track both. *shrugs* I'll have to look that up under TSSAA sometime.

17 years of soccer (currently playing premier division). 11 years of cricket (was invited to the Australian Institute of Sport when I was 13). 7 years of indoor soccer. 4 years of indoor cricket. 1 season of volleyball. 4 years of long distance running. 3 years of wieghts training. 3 years of martial arts (currently an assistant instructor in Muay Thai). 2 years of hockey. 2 years of inline hockey. 3 years of gymnastics. 1 year of lawn bowls. 2 years of baseball. 1 year of basketball. 2 years of softball. Needless to say I was an exercise addict throughout my life. I would always get injured and never let myself heal. Now my body is an absolute mess so I cant do that much anymore.

I played softball for...12 years? Well, the first few years were tee-ball, but...yeah. Center field was my favorite, and I played shortstop in high school.
Also played volleyball for seven years; I was a setter, made all league second team my senior year, and honorable mentions sophomore & junior year. Sadly, I don't play anything now...I want to get back into softball, though; hopefully I'll find a fast-pitch summer league this year...

I was quite the athlete and tomboy back in my childhood...
I started playing soccer in kindergarten, and continued with that through my freshman year of hight school, so I like to hope I was good at it. I dabbled in ice skating for a year in first grade, don't really remember it. I was in gymnastics from first grade through seventh or eighth. Oh the good ole days of being in shape... I played basketball in fourth and fifth grade, but I wasn't any good there, being quite short. Once I hit junior high I was on the track and cross country teams, although sprinting with track was my specialty. I actually placed in State with the 100 meter dash, and my 4x200 relay. I also played volleyball in junior high, out team won conference, I don't know how much that had to do with me or not. Oh yeah, and I also did dance pretty much straight through from first grade till high school, and I was a cheerleader. Once I got to highschool I bascially had to decide between music and sports, and music won. I often wish I was in as good of shape now as I was back when I was so active. Time for me to hit the gym!

when I was younger we (as in me and my sisters) used to be in gymnastics. We stopped going just when I was able to an honest-to-god backflip on my own.
Played basketball through my senior year, and my vertical was quite decent for being just a hair under six feet. I was good at three pointers and defense, but have not played much in recent years as my body seems to complain a great deal faster and longer than it used to. Also not much incentive anymore. Last time I tried going for the rim some time back, an easy task in high school even on a bad day, I was limping back in the house to sit after one jump.

Lots of soccer players here. I too played soccer. Lets see, 3 years AYSO, 8 years club soccer, and in high school 4 years varsity soccer. Soccer let me see places normally i would have never seen. I was on the ODP (olympic developmental program)team in Illinois. It could have led to something great, but i ruined that by smoking weed and cigerettes. "If, if was a spliff, we all be high". Now, i just play golf for fun. Picked golf up 3 years ago, and its a very addictive sport.

Eight years of rec baseball, four of rec basketball, and yes, one of rec indoor soccer. Plus untold amounts of playground football. Stunk at them all, but loved to play (except the soccer...still can't figure out why I played )

Currently I Fence! It's soo much fun! I've done it for almost 7 years now.
In elementry school I played baseball one year. I had the entire national league rulebook for that year memorized. From 1st grade through the beginning of Jr. High I did X-Game style dirt moutain bicycle jumping where we would go down a hill, up and off a dirt mound, and do tricks in the air. I don't know how many times I've flipped over my handle bars, knocked my chest into my handle bars, landed on the bar (ouch to the future of the world...), or wrecked in some other way. But our wrecks never kept us out for very long. We'd just get back on the bike and keep jumping. Then I was always active doing one sport or another.

I also play soccer. Striker/Forward - whatever you want to call it. I went to mexico for a couple of months and really learned how to play the game. Great game down there - people love it, and really show their dedication. Oddly enough, I had no skills at sports (barring the goaltending in hockey - which I was decent at) until I was 15. Late start, I guess, but now I've picked up to the skill of people my age in relatively little time. Not a bad thing in a way. Better now than never.

As a kid I played hockey, baseball, and basketball. When I was in highschool I played volleyball, golf, and baseball. And throughout that time I snowboarded, played tennis and mountain biked. Now I do alot of snowboarding, I play golf when I can, and I try and have some games of tennis each year.
