Thats too bad... I hope the long flights and time change doesn't screw up their schedule too much.

I watched a little bit but pre-season is no fun when a bunch of no names rent jerseys for a month until they get cut.

All of these guys went undrafted:

QB Kurt Warner, St Louis (Green Bay 1994)
DT John Randle, Seattle (Minnesota 1990)
QB Jeff Garcia, San Francisco (1999)
WR Rod Smith, Denver (1994)
RB Priest Holmes, Kansas City (Baltimore 1997)
LB London Fletcher, Buffalo (St Louis 1998)
S Kwamie Lassiter, Arizona (1995)
S Sammy Knight, New Orleans (1997)
TE Marcus Pollard, Indianapolis (1995)
C Matt Gruttadauria, Arizona (Dallas 1995)

Just because they went undrafted doesn't mean a player can't show potential enough to earn a uni for the year. That's a big part of what training camp is about.

Don't get me wrong there are always diamonds in the rough in any sport. But the percentage is miniscule. Unless you know some of these guys from college or personally the majority are still no names.

Preseason is also just a chance to see all these guys that have been all over the papers actually perform. Especially the high draft picks.

I love watching preseason. You see some of the best football then. Guys on the bubble busting their balls to impress the coaches, especially on special teams.
