Yahoo Fantasy Hockey
Not sure if there are still any hockey fans left around here, but I'm opening my fantasy league back up to anyone who is interested. Last year we were full with friends and family, but this year we still need 2 managers with the draft being a week from tomorrow. If anyone is interested, please PM me and I will send you the league ID and password. Here are the league settings:
Draft Type: Live Standard Draft Draft Time: Mon Sep 20 8:00pm EDT Max Teams: 10 Scoring Type: Head-to-Head Max Moves: No maximum Max Trades: No maximum Trade Reject Time: 0 Trade End Date: March 17, 2011 Waiver Time: 2 days Waiver Type: Continual rolling list Can't Cut List Provider: Yahoo! Sports Trade Review: Commissioner Post Draft Players: Follow Waiver Rules Max Acquisitions per Week: No maximum Min Games Played: 3 Weekly Deadline: Daily - Tomorrow Start Scoring on: Week 1 Playoffs: Week 23, 24 and 25 (6 teams) Note: Week 25 runs 7 days from Apr 4 to Apr 10 Divisions: No Roster Positions: C, C, C, LW, LW, LW, RW, RW, RW, D, D, D, D, Util, G, G, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR, IR Forwards/Defensemen Stat Categories: Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shorthanded Points (SHP), Game-Winning Goals (GWG) Goaltenders Stat Categories: Wins (W), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO) Our league does have one house rule regarding add/drops of free agent players. The free agent list is there to replace injured or slumping players. Anyone using the list to add players to their roster for the sake of gaining weekly stats will receive one warning, and any problems after that will result in a ban from the league. We haven't had any problems with this for a few seasons, but I thought I'd let anyone thinking of joining know ahead of time, for full disclosure sake. |

Wow. Is this a friends and family league, or did you recruit a majority of the teams here, from the TFP?
I don't know if you'd want me in, as I've never played, but I'm willing to learn. I did watch 50 NHL games last year, which was a single-season high for me. If you don't want me in / I am too late to join, would it be possible for me to "casually observe" how the league flows and goes? I'm eager to learn.
