2009 Tour de France
i can't be the only one excited about the TDF, can i?
in less than one week, the rolling soap opera kicks off. thrills, spills, chills, screaming, excitement, scandals, tourism, scenery, amazing feats of human suffering, victory and defeat. fuck. yeah. makes me wish i had a tv to watch it on. i will have to rely on internet clips and vids and coverage. anyone else giddy with anticipation?

I am stoked for it as always. I love having breakfast in the morning and watching it, such a nice way to start the day. Anybody who has thrown their leg over a road bike and ridden for any length of time knows that this is the most grueling sporting event out there.

if (like me) you don't have a tv, or you are stuck at a computer, or you don't feel like watching commercials, you can catch the Tour streaming live from Eurosport HERE:

The only way I would watch would be if they legalized all performance enhancing drugs. A bunch of ripped, roid-raging, adrenaline-rushing bikers getting absolutely vicious and going balls out for days on end would have to be more interesting than watching things as they stand.
