Pro Football Pick Em
There is already a Fantasy Football league here on tfp: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/tilted-...tball-2k8.html
I prefer Pic Em instead and I don't think we did one last year. So I got off my ass and made one. Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Pro Football Pickem The ID# is 7038 and the password is tfp

I am still very much green when it comes to Fantasy Football; only started participating in a league last year, missed the draft, first five weeks, then subseqent playoffs. it was still fun as hell those eight weeks I remembered to play. This seems more my speed. Perhaps those will improve saavy acumen towards the fantasy championship I'll need.
Thanks, you Psycho. I can't seem to get past the stage in which i choose my name and notifications; mmm...

Once you are signed up, you should be able to go to Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Pro Football Pickem - and access everything. If you are signed up as Feather In Air, it looks like you have made your picks now. What you have picked cn be changed up to 5 minutes before the start of the first game.

Indeed. I had to switch my browser to Firefox in order to continue registering. And I also thought to go with gut instinct for the innaugural 1st week; up until better judgment seeks to unseat it.
Nonetheless... My Team: Feather in Air

I'm in PD. I am going with "Random Choices" this time 'round.
Thanks for setting this up. If we can coerce a few more of the folks to sign up, we can have some fun. Didn't we used to have about 30 involved in the game when we did it within the forum?

I don't remember how many we had last time we did it. But I'm of the more the merrier mindset. I hope we can get it to max out the 50 users. tonight I'll search for one of the old threads and see if I can tell who all used to play and maybe send out some PMs.

I'm in. I set it up a couple of years but interest dwindled until last year it was only a couple of guys, so I never bothered this year....SCREAMING EAGLES, by the way.

Lot's of games went from no-brainers to head scratchers and coin flips. Of course, my record for week 1 proves I'm pretty much a no-brainer myself.

Man I got off to a lousy start. Not only did I bomb, but I didn't get to watch any games save for Thursday night's opener. And I missed half of that. This weekend doesn't look too promising either for watching football.

I can bounce back from this though, right? I want to get at least 12/16 this week to rebound, so here's to my chances. (What happened to all the other potential competitors, can they still join?)

I'm in the cellar with you. I kind of like that though. The climb back up is interesting. Assuming we can climb back up that is.
It is hard to believe that most teams have played a quarter of their games. I've been so busy that I can count the games I've seen this season on one hand. The games I've watched have been goon ones though. Cowboys and Eagles, Cowboys and Redskins, Chiefs and Broncos. BTW, that Chiefs pick... I'd like to have that one back. I almost went with the gut and picked the Chiefs at Arrowhead but couldn't see how the Chiefs defense was going to hold up against the Broncos. Then when they had two rookies starting on the corners I went with Denver. Who would have thought it.

Whoever was in last, well, now you're not, Here I come! Hopefully I can finish second to last. I just happen to be hamstrung by two "have-to" picks each week. Can you guess at least one of them?

Mm, similar to mine: Washington, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, & San Diego are my four favorite teams. My two favorite team songs are that of the 'Skins and the Chargers, though.
I've been thinking of adding two more, but I'm in no rush. On another note: I've noted when in the Norhern Virginia road and major highways, I, for whatever reason or another, spot more "Florida Orange" license than I do either Maryland or District plates. It makes me think that Virgina and Florida share some kind of secret wormhole so that residents of either state commute freely between the two. It's quite bizarre.

The same delusion I had picking Detroit to pull one over the Bears? The law of averages seems to be immune to the four worst teams. Houston coulda held on, but they let go of the reins on the Colts.
The way it goes... like for whatever reason, I knew Miami would beat both NE and SD, but I picked the favorites to win. It's kooky how the brain works on a coin toss.

Sheesh, I had 2 weeks at ~.500 and I fell way down the rankings...
But I have a good bounce-back week going, 10 points so far. I forgot to put in the tie-breakers, though. Oops.
