Joe Nuxhall
Joe Nuxhall died last night. He was the youngest player to play in the majors at 15 years old in 1944. He was very popular in the Cincinnati area for years as a player and broadcaster. I remember listening to him announce the Reds games on radio years ago. He would always end the broadcast with "This is the old left-hander, rounding third and heading for home,".

Looks like the ol' left hander made it home.
RIP, Joe. Apparently tonight at Great American Ballpark, the only things that will be lit are his statue and his trademark "Rounding Third and Heading For Home" phrase on the side of the building.
