Careful dude, or we may start ganging up on ya!

It's a 3 horse race, coz Chelsea are firing on 2 cylinders at the moment.

Genuinely, I'd be damn surprised if we won this season, but if it happens I'll come back and rub ya nose in it!

I think Barclays is insisting we all call it the "BPL" these days, on pain of death or foreclosure, whichever hurts more.

Anyway, it'll be tight all the way to the end. "Citeh" to finish ahead of that other team in Manchester.

three horse race??..maybe...liverpool slipped a bit..but they'll finish in the top four anyway, liverpool will likely again be a succes in europe, but in domestic league..very dificult..it has been proven over the last 3-4 years..it is much more important for benitez to succed in europe instead of in the league..

Man utd..has the best colective and qualititve team, no body can argue bout dat

Just wish Man Utd had at least one more world-class forward, cause back when Rooney, Saha, Smith etc were injured or gone they didn't have anyone to replace them.

Personally I think Man U will win it this season, Arsenal second, Chelsea third. Oh, and Tottenham go down.

Well we have got the usual banana skin of trying to beat Everton at Goodison. Going on the last few games, I'm not too hopeful. There's a few players who may or may not be fit.

Either way, there'll be some lumps kicked out there, and it's not worth prediciting the score coz it's a derby and they are always so unpredictable.

I'll see you all on Monday to gloat or whinge.

He's a good player, but I bet he'll be off to Real or Inter within a year or so. I really don't think England will suit him, long term.

I heard this week that Tevez's brother has been at Man Utd for a trial.

Where do they get them from? Do the agents think Fergie is stupid? I hope he doesn't get the wool pulled over his eyes on this one, but Fergie being the man he is, I can't see that happening.

Well, what a match that derby was. It had everything, dubious decisions, controversial moments, sendings off (2 of 'em) and a lacklustre performance by the eventual winners.

Gerrards face was a picture when he was subbed, but Rafa got away with it - I wish I had half his luck!

Reina was virtually redundant.

Oh those bitter Bluenoses - Made my weekend!

You know, I hear some criticism of the performance against the Bitters, but it's not like Everton had any real opportunities on goal except the blunder by Sami and they finished 6th last season. Everton were lucky to be in it at all.

Lucas came on and did well, I imagine he will get more opportunities as we go forward.

And Phil Neville may have finally found his best position!

Poor old Martin Jol - best manager Spurs have had in about 25 years and he gets unceremoniously sacked.

hmmm..... I think the decisions are maybe influenced by the good old press. They start the season with the headlines 'who will be first to go...'

If you believe everything that goes to press, there are no premiership managers with safe jobs any more.

Keep up the good work boys, pretty soon you'll have nothing to write about!

You know what's stupid about the Ramos/Jol thing at Spurs - Ramos a reputation for moving around a lot. I have no doubt that if has any degree of success at spurs, then a bigger club (Real, Inter, etc) will come for him. If he fails, then he is obviously no improvement of Jol.

The best Spurs can hope for will be for them to win the FA Cup or League Cup this year or next, otherwise it'll be lights out.

Well in the Jekyll & Hyde cup last night we saw the real side of Liverpool in an 8-0 thrashing of a very poor team. I was lucky enough to go last night and took one of my sons with me. The only thing is he thinks all Liverpool games are going to be high scoring now. It won't take long before he realises that in the BPL it a very different story.

Oh yeah - 8-0 !!!!!! a new Champions League scoring record. Man who-nited?

Nice .. was it his first match?

This result should give the lads confidence that they need going forward - looking for a few more goals this weekend against Fulham!

Maybe we can have the rubber match in the next year or two ...

Mind you, the way AC's domestic form is going, you might not be in the CL next year!

follower of the child's crusade?

The way Spurs treated Martin Jol was completely disgraceful.

Agree with that - but worse is how they dicked around the supporters and the club as a whole. They gave Jol this huge transfer war chest in the summer - pretty much knowing they were going to sack him - allowed him to buy expensive "talent" that Ramos will probably sell anyway. Darren Bent? You're having a laugh. Not an ounce of passion in that kid, no matter his physical skills.
