Teams you love to hate?
Sometimes it is just as important to have a team(s) to cheer against as it is to have a team to love. Rivalries are great and sometimes you just hate a team for no particular reason, but hey that is what it is all about.
The teams that I really do not care for: NFL – The Cowboys, but they suck right now so who cares. NHL – The Detroit Red Wings – Because MLB – The Atlanta Braves – The are NOT America’s team College Football – UT (University of Tennessee) – Orange uniforms remind me of prison inmates. What team(s) really raise your ire? |

Louisville - Screw Pitino, should have never went to the NBA

France - Rugby i respect the All Blacks and the Springboks too much to really hate them, but these guys, well everyone down under loves to hate these guys. oh, and in the AFL, i love to hate Essendon (because of Matthew Lloyd), Adelaide (because of Wayne Carey) and North Melbourne (because they're North). edit... i should also add, that Aussies REALLY love to hate all English sports teams, even the lawn bowls, and especially their cricket team. maybe this comes from our colonial background or maybe its just fun to beat the poms.

Living in Liverpool and being a true red, it won't surprise some of you to know that there are 2 teams in particular that I just love to hate. Our poor neighbours, Everton (there, I said it!) and those 'too big for their boots' Manchester United.
The former will forever be in our shadow, wherever their new stadium may be. The latter have had a good run recently, but they will never come close to being the great team that Liverpool have been in years gone by and for years to come. Sorry, I had to get that off my chest!

Lakers - just because Sixers - no, not really, this is the only Philly team I can stand, since the Steel City isn't a (professional) basketball city NFL: Eagles - I HATE everything Philly except Rocky and Ben Franklin and the college friends I have that hail from there Cowboys - with help from Neil O'Donnell, they deprived Pittsburgh of One For The Thumb Browns/Ravens - Whether they're the new Browns or the old Browns, Cleveland still sucks NHL: Flyers - again, can't share the Commonwealth, and they're in our division Avalanche - mostly because my former-best-friend-and-ex-girlfriend is infatuated with them and I can't tolerate that, and they suck MLB: (Damn) Yankees - once they put a salary cap on baseball, let's see Steinbrenner try to buy a team and the nation's heart then Phillies - notice a trend? The Toronto Maple Leafs. Shane Corson walking out on the team in the middle of the playoffs because he wasn't getting enough ice time was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. If you ask them, every official in the league is out to get them and every other team is a bunch of cheating pansies.

I cant stand the Dallas Cowboys ( Its soooooo funny they suck!!)
I HATE the Colorado Avalanche ( Now that Roy is gone ... I might not hate them so much) I dont like The Yankees or the Braves in baseball. AND last but certianly not least....... If your not sick of hearing about the LA Lakers.... there is something wrong with you... fuck Shaq and Kobe !!!!!!!!

As Knolan hates everything Philly i hate everything Cleveland. I hate the Indians, the Cavs and especailly the Browns. I hate the Lakers, the Yankees, The Rams and the Red Wings. And of Course UWV and PSU.

FYI: Yes im from chicago, and yes i believe that chicago does not have any baseball fans. People sell out cubs games and dont even watch the games... all they do is drink, and talk on their cell phones. The only thing good about chicago baseball is Wrigley Field. But what we forget to notice is that a stadium does not make a team. And while were on that subject, of a stadium not making a team.... I hate Michigan. my $1.25 FOX

Well, there are some teams you simply have to hate. First of all, any team from Ohio. Yeah, OSU got lucky last year in football, but how many of their championship years have my beloved Michigan ruined? HAHAHA.
For hockey, I hate the Devils. They ruined the game. Can it get any more boring than watching a trap? For soccer, I hate Beckham. He's a fag. He's horrible. He looks like a queer, so any team he ends up on I despise. For BBall, I hate Indiana Pacers. Thanks for selling us out, Isiah. Good thing your team sucks! Good thing you're a horrible coach. We need to get Lambier over here to punch some sense into you. For baseball, I hate every team. Everyone's better than the Tigers. I hate rugby and cricket. Just the entire sports. |
