everyone picks on the big shots, teams that always win, Yankees, Lakers, Cowboys, etc..
I think there should be a more merit-based hate system in place.
The Cowboys are a team with no superstars, a coach that's finally in charge, an owner who has changed his tune/attitude it seems, no crazy trades on draft day, just keeping a low profile and doing what needs to be done.
The Lakers have given those who hate them even more reason to do so. In no other sport and no scenario I can imagine would it be possible for a team to attract free agents that will have such an unfair impact. Yes, I said unfair, and I'm not whining, it is the truth. Veteran stars want rings, that's understandable. But they totally altered the landscape of the league by playing for far less than they are worth. (Plus the whole Kobe thing.)
The Yankees are more obnoxious than the Cowboys ever were, and Derek Jeter is extremely overrated. The Rocket helps people hate them too.
What other teams that are deserving of hatred?
Miami Hurricanes - who's even heard of Miami University outside of college football, and maybe basketball. They don't have the history or the real college experience of Alabama or Penn State or Ohio State or Nebraska or Oklahoma or Michigan or Notre Dame or Texas, or even the other Florida schools, and I don't like them.
I also don't like Phil Eagles, cause they have obnoxious, hateful fans. I'll get off of my soapbox now.

Rays, DBacks, who can forget Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars winning in playoffs in like their second year. It makes me feel bad for the Texas Rangers, the Browns, the Pheonix Cardinals, the Clippers, etc..
And also the Ravens, I don't like them either.

Teams I love to hate - Redsox and Patriots - Went to college with a couple of guys from the NE area who loved both teams. Until I was completely nausiated with the two teams, I would root for them. Then it became fun to root against them.

Teams I just dislike - Cowboys (but they are so pathetic now it's just sad), Yankees, and Lakers.

The Lakers simply beg to be hated. The Cowboys as well. I used to hate the Yankees, but since the D-Backs beat them in the World Series my ire has subsided.

College - any Kentucky school, Duke, Carolina, Xavier, and pretty much all other schools that aren't Cincinnati :D

Yankees - Cant stand them. I know alot of teams buy players, but this is above and beyond.

Texas A&M - Go to college station once and you wont have to ask why.
