Of course, Tiger is a great player but looking at things in the cool light of day, he's only ever been a front runner. He needs to win a major or two coming from behind a la Jack to get the mantle of "greatest" IMO.

*if* tiger had played like he did on Saturday he would have won easily. I'm sure he had a lot on his mind considering it was Father's Day etc, but he's a pro. He should know how to put those thoughts to the back of his mind and win.
I think the turning point was when he pulled the driver out of the bag on that short par 4. He didn't need driver.. with his length a 3 wood would have been more than enough. Either way, He'll end up smashing Jack's record. |
