Pacman's Thuglife

This is the same idiot who stated there werent enough thugs on the TN Titans foootball team. Maybe his high priced lawyers can get him outta this, or perhaps he can intimidate the witnesses like Ray Lewis did.......

Las Vegas strip club owner: 'Pacman' Jones knew suspected shooter
Posted 2/21/2007

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The co-owner of the strip club where three people were shot over the NBA All-Star weekend says pro football player Adam "Pacman" Jones came and left with the shooter, an account that differs from that of Jones' lawyer.
"He denied any knowledge of the shooter, but he was sitting right next to him," club co-owner Robert Susnar told the Las Vegas Review-Journal for Wednesday's edition. "Those guys came in together and left together."

Jones' lawyer, Worrick Robinson, told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Jones did not know anyone involved in the shooting and was interviewed by local authorities as a witness, not as a suspect. Police have not said Jones is a person of interest in the case.

Susnar said his recollection of the events was based upon his interviews with employees and club surveillance video.

He said the trouble started after 4 a.m., when Jones and his entourage of a half-dozen people returned to the club for the second time that evening.

Jones tossed hundreds of $1 bills on the stripper stage, Susnar said, adding that when a dancer started grabbing the money without Jones' permission, he got angry, grabbed her hair and slammed her head against the stage.

Security guard Aaron Cudworth, a mixed-martial artist with professional fighting experience, intervened and scuffled with Jones and members of his entourage, he said.

Jones then threatened to kill the guard, Susnar said.

Order was eventually restored and everyone moved outside before the gunman opened fire toward the front door of the club, hitting Cudworth, security guard Tom Urbanski and a female customer, he said.

"He goes out, retrieves a gun, then shoots two security guards, pretty much making good on the threat made by Pacman Jones," Susnar said.

Robinson told the paper that the entertainers began throwing cash into the air, sparking a fight among women on and off the stage as they scrambled for the money. He said Jones was attacked when he tried to get his own money back. "Mr. Jones didn't assault anybody," Robinson said.

Robinson and Susnar did not immediately respond to messages left by The Associated Press Wednesday.

Cudworth, who was shot in the chest and arm, was released from University Medical Center on Tuesday. Urbanski, 43, remained at the hospital in critical condition. He was expected to live, but a bullet severed his spine and paralyzed him below the waist, his father told the paper.

"He's going to be paralyzed for life, and what did he do?" Don Urbanski said. "I just want somebody to pay for it."

Jones has faced criminal charges three times since the Tennessee Titans made the cornerback the sixth overall pick in the 2005 draft — all involving incidents at nightclubs in Tennessee.

The cornerback promised he had seen the inside of a courtroom for the last time Feb. 1, when a judge dismissed an assault charge filed by a woman who claimed Jones spit on her during an October nightclub altercation.

Charges in a confrontation with a club manager during a private party in July 2005 also have been dismissed.

Jones was ordered to stay out of trouble until July 5 if he wants his criminal record cleared of public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges for an August arrest in the Nashville suburb of Murfreesboro.

Robinson said he didn't think the Las Vegas incident violated the judge's order.

Wow! Nobody has an opinion on the wanna be gangster Pacman??? I remember when the Titans signed him, and I certainly recall when his car was impounded then auctioned off by the Nashville TN Police Dept, after a drug raid against a local rapper. The car wasnt registered in Pacman's name although his name was embroidered on the steering wheel and seats. No charges were filed against him.

He was then arrested for assault, the charges against Jones, the Titans' 2005 first-round draft pick, were the result of an Aug. 25, 2006 incident at the Sweetwater Saloon in Nashville. The police said Jones yelled obscenities at other patrons. At the time, Jones claimed he was an innocent bystander. Judge David Loughry agreed to a 6-month retirement of charges against the 23-year-old, pending Jones' completion of anger management counseling in which he is already active.

He was arrested again for misdemeanor assault after spitting on a woman in another local bar. That charge was dismissed in general sessions court after the alleged victim of the nightclub spitting incident and Jones both took the stand. Pacman then stated,"I'm through with court, I have no more court cases so I'm just ready to play football."

Now he's assaulted a stripper in Vegas and is likely an accomplice to attempted murder. Personally, I hope he never plays pro football again, he does time in prison, and all his victims sue him for every dime he has. This would be his just dessert for living the "Thuglife".

involved in a fight at an atlanta strip joint the same month he was drafted

popped for pot in a hotel room 2 months later - his buddies took the call

1 month later he's busted for a fight in a nashville bar

april 2006 his caddie was involved in drug dealing

3 days later he's questioned about a shooting

in august he's popped for public intoxication and disorderly

again in august he's ticketed for spitting in a person's face

and now the vegas connection - goodell's gonna have nightmares

his batting average is a whopping 1 hit every 3 months in his first 2 years with the NFL

he's coddled... just as tank is - the bears can't win without him

your ticket prices go up every year to accomodate the salaries these buffoons demand yet seem to be in the wrong court more than the right...

i used to say half the NBA played belong in jail... i'm ammending that statement

edit

sorry, i didn't finish reading all the stuff you had on his history, it's just that i feel the league and the union as well as the players should be held accountable

their failure to teach these kids, and they are kids, in how to present themselves in public goes right along with how they do on the field...

flip the bird to a fan and get fined $10K - pfffft - big deal - pocket change - do it in public and they turn a blind eye

it's not only time for the communities to get their teams back but the leagues as well... we, the fans, have to tell them it's not acceptable and certainly won't be tolerated...

this is the kind of stuff Law & Order episodes are built on... only L&O has "parental discretion is advised" at the beginning, the league should place their warning at the end

I just heard that Pacman got Ray Lewis's Lawyer! I think the name of the firm is "Thugs Are Us".

The cops seized his 81 grand too, not that he cares, I just thought it was funny.....ha ha.

LAS VEGAS — More than $81,000 in cash belonging to Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was seized by police, who say the money sparked a weekend melee and a triple shooting at a strip club.
Jones was showering more than 40 strippers onstage early Monday with cash "intended as a visual effect," according to a search warrant. But a scuffle broke out when the Houston promoter who hired the strippers told them to pick up the money.
The promoter, identified as Chris Mitchell, owner of "Harlem Knights," and a male associate took a plastic trash bag containing Jones' money and walked out the front door, the warrant says. Police recovered the money and two watches inside a safe at Mitchell's hotel room Monday.
Jones' lawyer, Worrick Robinson, has said his client did not know anyone involved in the shooting and was interviewed by authorities as a witness, not as a suspect. Police have not said Jones is a person of interest in the case.
Robinson could not be immediately reached for comment Thursday.
Jones has faced criminal charges three times — all involving nightclubs in Tennessee — since the Titans made the cornerback the sixth overall pick in the 2005 draft.
Mitchell, according to the warrant, "admits that he took the money in the bag belonging to Jones because he thought it was for the dancers." After Mitchell left Minxx Gentlemen's Club & Lounge, "a melee broke out," the warrant says.
Later, a woman identified as a member of Jones' group fought with one of the strippers and security tried to break up the fight, it says. Jones told the guards to back off and reached behind his back "as if he were retrieving a weapon there."
Jones' entourage was moved outside, but the woman continued to fight, according to the warrant filed Wednesday in Clark County District in Las Vegas.
The woman hit a guard in the head with a champagne bottle and "began biting and screaming" when other guards tried to restrain her, the warrant says. Minutes later, a valet told police he heard shots fired near the front entrance and saw a black man with corn rows in his hair pointing a black semi-automatic handgun, it says. The man then fled.
The shots hit a female customer and two guards, one in critical condition in a Las Vegas hospital. Aaron Cudworth, the guard hit with the champagne bottle, and the woman, were treated and released.
Police have described the suspected shooter as last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. As of Thursday morning, police said he was still at large.
Jones promised he had seen the inside of a courtroom for the last time Feb. 1, when a judge dismissed an assault charge filed by a woman who claimed Jones spit on her in October at a nightclub.
Robinson has said he didn't think the Las Vegas disturbance violated the judge's order.

Pacman has been indicted on 3 different charges and goes to trial next month, nothing from the vegas incident, yet.

Drug Dealer's Recorded Calls Mention Pacman's Troubles

Recordings Link Pacman To Drug Dealer
Drug Dealer's Recorded Calls Mention Pacman's Troubles

Adam "Pacman" Jones was at the scene of a triple shooting at a Las Vegas Strip Club a week ago and although police said he is only a witness there are allegations he knows the shooter and may have started the mêlée.

Exclusive conversations from a drug investigation revealed more into Jones' association with trouble.

In March, 2006 Metro Police announced some major drug arrests. A lot of the evidence for the arrests was from conversations police had taped with different dealers. Although Jones faced no charges in connection with the investigation, his name was mentioned in the taped recordings.

In one of Metro's largest busts to date, the drug trafficking investigation netting nearly 2,000 pounds of drugs, nine major arrests and more than 20 vehicles; the most noticeable was a Cadillac linked to Jones.

Jones faced no charges in the drug investigation. The car wasn't registered to him and was apparently borrowed for a rap video.

Jones' buddy convicted drug dealer Darryl Moore was the center of the investigation and now his conversations may be very telling of Jones' own problems.

"We gotta slow down, man. We gotta get him focused on football, man. He's focused on too much other s****," Moore said.

NewsChannel 5 obtained wiretapped phone conversations between Moore and his friends. In one conversation he talked about Jones throwing his money into gambling, putting thousands of dollars on college games to make a quick buck.

Moore, a convicted Felon now facing another round of hard time, actually worried Jones was spiraling out of control.

Moore said he cared about his friend and how all of his habit could affect his career.

"You know, I was talkin' to him the other day about smokin', and he was like ‘man, if I didn't smoke I couldn't take all the stress that I'm dealing with right now,'" Moore said.

Moore also talked about Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher who he said visited Jones at home.

"Fisher's being as patient as a m*****f***** as he can. Fisher gotta win. Fisher trying to win...He ain't putting up with that s***," Moore said.

The Titans have said in the past they've talked to Jones. Lawyers and judges have certainly counseled him as well.

"He gotta concentrate on season...that ******* drug test coming up," he said. "We telling him he needed 33 days before he took his ******* test; dry-out, and he didn't...that's let me know right there that he ain't taking his ****** job serious."

Jones faced no charges in connection with the drug arrests. He has not been charged with anything in the Vegas incident.

However, Moore has been indicted and will face trial next month.

Titans management has not commented specifically on Jones future with the team except to say they have talked about it, will talk to Pacman and there is always the potential of letting him go.

let's see if he follows ricky to the cfl... which brings up this question...

should the nfl suspend a player, should the player also be denied playing anywhere else, the cfl, the euro league or arena league??? if not, what's the point of the suspension???
