Anyone want to watch a city in it's death throes?
Come to Baltimore tonight.
15-6, Colts beat the Ravens. People are already gathering their pitchforks against Steve McNair. and he had a better night statistically then Peyton Manning. At least Bob Irsey is still in Hell where he belongs.

Man, that was tough. One of the CBS commentators said at the beginning that this was in the bag for the Ravens, they would just need to score 21 points. Sounds like he was right.
As bittersweet as it is, it was at least an entertaining game to watch. At least the Terps won. yay?

I wonder what brand of champaigne Jim Fassel uncorked after the Raven loss?

Peyton Manning is my own personal Jesus.

This thread really amuses me just because every time I see it I think of a Family Guy style cut-away where they show a Baltimore fan yelling "fuck you Indy for stealing our team!" and a guy in a Browns jersey standing behind him looking really confused.

It did suck Saturday. The Ravens were better on paper than the Colts but for some reason Steve McNair turned into Kyle Boller and Brian Billick turned into Jim Fassel. Not a great time to take a stroll down memory lane.... Gooooooooo Pats!!!!!!!!!

At least Jim and Paul Brown aren't in the NFL Hall of Fame as Baltimore Browns.

I was at the game and had some great seats right behind the Raven's bench. The most disheartening thing about McNair's play was how he just went directly to the end of the bench and sat down after both interceptions. He didn't try to rile up the offense, or throw out some "my bads"; he didn't show much emotion at all. Jonathan Ogden was livid after the second pick; he was stomping around and yelling from the field to the bench. At one point, he even gave McNair a "lets go" hit to the side, which elicited no response. The Defense played their ass off, but Indy ultimately beat Baltimore in the type of game we thrive in. Surprisingly, people did not seem that pissed/devastated after the game. Obviously, nobody was happy. I only recall one guy knocking over beer bottles and kicking cans as he was walking down a ramp towards a parking lot. |
