SUPERBOWL XLI Predictions
Baltimore Ravens 28, Chicago Bears 10.
Or Baltimore Ravens winning and any NFC team LOSING!!!! |
Chargers beating anyone they play.
|
Raiders 49, Patriots 0
I can dream.... |
The Ravens already beat the Chargers once this year, and that was when their offense looked as bad as it ever did (and it has looked BAD :D).
Ravens beat the Saints (whom they destroyed this season), becoming the most-hated Super Bowl team ever :p |
This thread is fun now isn't it? ;)
Earlier in the week me and a buddy were taking predictions. Of course I heard all the San Diego smack. I simply said "you can never count the patriots out" Guess what? He shouldn't have. I was hoping the bears would lose but oh well. Now we'll see the Patriots vs Saints I'll come up with a score later ;) |
COLTS! :D
Yippee! All the fans were happy to be buying tickets this morning....everyone was glad New England won so they can come here and we can beat them at home! ;) :D My husband is very happy.....:p |

Ouch! The Raven's dropped an egg but the Colts still found a way to win. It is what it is...the Colts are moving on and the Raven's start their off-season. THIS SUCKS!!! |
Year of the Bear

I've been waiting a while to do that. |
Whoop! :D Colts and Bears!! Yea! Midwest is best! :D
|
If Rex Grossman becomes a Super Bowl champion, it will be an insult to every respectable QB that ever played the game.
I do hope for a good game though. :) |

Bears have no chance. If I was handicapping the game, I'd give the Bears a touchdown. Peyton is about to win his first ring.

Keep doubting the Bears and they'll find a way! --jaded |

yeah, once I saw the snow in Chi-town I knew I was screwed. Then to have the Pats blow a lead. Let's be honest that wasn't a grand comeback because of the colts.. it was a defensive meltdown (due to injuries, fatigue blah blah) by the pats. Fuck. Now who do I pick?? I'll go with the Bears. I just hope their corners are ready. I love watching Manning choke. |

Have they decided who will play yet?

I'm thinking the bears will win. I can't see Payton doing anything but not playing to his potential. I think he's going to be too tight to get the ball on target, they'll dig a hole and can't get out of. The A-Train will run well. Bears 27, Colts 18.
|
Go Bears! Yea, baby the Superbowl!

|
Agreed I hope Chicago by 10

Colts! Colts! Colts!

Bears fan first, but I'm also a Colts fan. I live in Indiana but closer to Chicago. Plenty like me around. Bears have always had a strong following in northern Indiana, they used to hold training camp at St. Joseph College in Rensselaer about midway between Chicago and Indy. My best friend in Indy has season tickets to Colts games, but he's a diehard Bears fan and will be rooting for the Bears. I think I'd rather have the Bears in the Super Bowl against any team other than the Colts. And vice versa. But Go BEARS, at least I won't be too tore up if they lose. I was in Indy last week for business and the town was electric. Everyone is on top of the world. Its nice to see that much enthusiasm for their team.
My prediction, Bears win because of the D. Their defense comes up strong, really strong. Manning doesn't have a bad day but the Colts entire offense is overwhelmed. Grossman is the wild card, though. He could literally give the game away. I expect to see the Bears run the piss out of the ball with Jones and Benson. Grind out some 8 minute series, maybe settle for a field goal. Keep Manning off the field. My other prediction is that I'll be hitting the bloody marys at 2 pm. :D |
I predict that while we watch the game on my buddy's HD, we'll be drinking massive amounts my other buddy's home brew beer, while eating the snacks lovingly prepared by the first buddy's wife.
I further predict that during the "introduce the players" period of the pregame, some player will run up to the camera, stick his face into it, and yell, "FUCK YEAH!!!" and it will air unbleeped. |
I predict I'll go out and watch a movie or something. Maybe "The Last King of Scotland". I hear it's good.
The Bears will probably win, but not by much. |

The initials for the Colts actually stand for “Count On Loosing The Suberbowl :) Go Bears :D (since my beloved Giants got their asses handed to them by da Bears - I gotta go ove to the dark side :D |
Wow... I give Mal mad kudos for the pic. :D
A picture speaks 1,000 words. Neither team is one of my favs but I gotta say GO BEARS! They are overdue. |
that's one of the better pictures that's been in my inbox today -there's another of peyton manning with a shotgun kneeling beside a dead bear that's way too obviously photoshopped :D
|
mal - you are my hero. :D
|
Being an AFC fan makes this hard to say, but I'd rather have the Bears win than the Colts. I just can't stand Payton Manning.
|
Well! :D The Indianapolis Colts are the Superbowl Champions! The whole state of Indiana is jacked up pretty high, as are my husband and son. :hyper: :hyper: Wonderful. Wonderful!
|
Smart money is on the Colts.
|
The best team won. Congrats to the Colts. I'm happy for Manning and Dungy. I would have been happier if the Bears won, though. :D
|
Is it too late to bet on the Colts?

Pigs are flying over the frozen wastelands of Hell.

Haha, sorry, Chicago fans... I'm usually not one to kick someone when their down, but I couldn't resist. Way to go, Colts. :D |
