Monday Night Football....
I am from the Philly area and sitting here watching MNF. First i think the announcers are horrible. Second, why is it the crowd was absolutely silent during the game but they can get up and taunt Michael Irvin during the entire pregame and halftime show? I mean I know how much they hate him and I know why, but save some for the game guys.
I really think the way the crowd is acting makes all of those typical Philly stereotypes seem well-founded even if they aren't. Or maybe my mind is just wandering...

I hate to say this because it's more generalization of Philly fans, but back before the playoff game in 2001, a bunch of them were at Ditka's in Chicago, harassing the hell out of the hostess because she was a Dallas fan.
It's a shame when the jackasses ruin things for the real fans.

And man am I tired of them showing how rough McNabb has it because he got booed when he got drafted. It was a morning sports talk radio moron... and 30 fans who drove up to NY that booed him. Anyone who had half a braincell saw we needed a QB first... (even if I didn't think McNabb was the best choice at the time... but who knew?)
I guess I should change this to an Eagles thread rather than a MNF thread.
